Nice discovery... I've been frequenting Rocca di Mezzo for some time and I must say that it's a very valid alternative to the usual restaurants I frequent. Prices a little above average but quality

Sarebbe stato un voto da 5 se fossero stati più gentili/accoglienti e se il locale fosse stato meno freddo (eravamo vicini alla porta e non ci siamo tolti i giubbotti) A parte questo il cibo era ottimo, le costolette di agnello gustose, verdure saporite. Tutto di alto livello. Ristorante un po caro, considerato anche gli altri prezzi in zona, ma di qualità

It's also nice to find places in a region like Abruzzo that also preserve and promote vegetarian recipes. At Antichi Sapori the menu changes very often, but in the mostly meat-based offerings there are always many truly special vegetarian/vegan dishes

"Divine" food, the best place where we ate (for 2 evenings!) near Rocca di Mezzo: particularly recommended (among what we tasted) was the rich cheese platter (to be taken for at least 2/3 people, paired with truly particular mustards), the grilled steak (abundant and very tender), the stewed lamb (with butter), the side dishes and the excellent selection of wines. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area again! The prices are adequate for the quality of the food offered.

27/02/2025: A beautiful menu with excellent products from our beautiful region. Welcoming environment and friendly, helpful staff. The oil it uses is of a superior standard. The good bruschettas and the first one I had with the moving ventricina! The cut was buttery and the tiramisu was really excellent. I absolutely recommend!
03/02/2025: I return to this restaurant when I come to Campo di Giove, here you can find Abruzzo specialties, from the Abruzzo or L'Aquila style guitar to the kebabs and lamb, cheese and eggs are my favourites, the portions are generous, the place is welcoming, the price is fair .

La Cascina per un Sogno

08/03/2025: Very kind staff. We had bad luck on the trip and it got late, but they guaranteed us impeccable service and allowed us to have lunch anyway, with typical dishes always revisited respecting tradition, but with that pleasant and surprising touch. Simple and good appetizers, abundant and well-made first courses, tasty second courses served on special plates that retained their heat, well-prepared and delicious desserts. It was a family lunch, but I will definitely return with friends and partners to let them discover this little gem. Thanks again!
10/01/2025: We stayed last year, and we also returned on December 26th, what can I tell you, we had a very good time, compliments to the staff and especially to the kitchen.
