Excellent family-run trattoria, traditional Tuscan dishes, three generations of the family take turns between the kitchen and the dining room, the historic restaurant is located in the town square. Highly recommended.

Restaurant located in the center of the village of Castellina in Chianti.
We stopped on a Sunday for lunch, the place was crowded but despite this the service was fast. We ate some delicious tagliolini with truffle, absolutely worth trying!

Per il fine settimana avevo prenotato un soggiorno a Castellina in Chianti e questo ristorante mi incuriosiva molto, avendo visto le recensioni e le foto online. Avevo provato a chiamare, ma purtroppo senza molto preavviso era tutto pieno. Decisa a tentare la sorte, mi sono ritrovata a passeggiare davanti al ristorante verso l'ora di cena e sono riusciti a trovarci un tavolo. Sarà stata fortuna, ma il posto merita davvero!
Ho assaggiato la tartare e una ribollita, la prima della mia vita, e me ne sono innamorata. Oltre a questo, il ristorante è davvero particolare: si sviluppa su più piani, con comode sale dove si respira un’atmosfera familiare e accogliente. I piatti sono davvero ottimi.

Trattoria tipica affacciata sulla piazza centrale del paese. Ottima cucina toscana: piatti intramontabili e irrinunciabili come crostini neri, collo di cappone ripieno, tonno del Chianti, ribollita, pici, galletto arrosto, rotolo di coniglio farcito, faraona... Buon rapporto qualità - prezzo. Servizio attento.
