A place we unexpectedly stumbled upon! After extensive research in the area, we found ourselves in the small village of Castellina in Chianti, centrally located and adorned with a charming square and tower. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, as is the staff, whom we found to be very kind and friendly. The dishes are very tasty and beautifully presented, as well as plentiful! We decided to savor the delicious handmade pappardelle with wild boar, followed by a sliced ​​beef steak and grilled chicken with a side of baked potatoes and fried artichokes (in my opinion, the highlight). Everything was delicious! The meat was high-quality and well-treated. Finally, we indulged in a tiramisu and a truly unique persimmon mousse! And all accompanied by an excellent Chianti Classico! Recommended for an evening as a couple or with friends and family. Excellent value for money!

We had a wonderful lunch at La Torre on Saturday. We had the antipasti misti and then suggested stuffed capon neck. Both were delicious. We usually order two other different dishes to share, but this time we both had the faraona con fungi e tartufo. Luckily, we didn't have to share, because it was delicious. And to finish on a high note, we had a cachi mousse dessert. Also incredibly delicious. We enjoyed a Chianti Classico Poggio alle Mure with it. An excellent value for money. In short, La Torre is highly recommended.
