The fog, the trees, the river, a village and its trattoria. Between the clatter of glasses and the steam from a fireplace, everything remains as it once was. Nostalgia stings, but here it doesn't hurt, because ancient flavors and old traditions heal the nostalgia of hometown life that plagues our memories. We are witnessing the last echo of a world gone by, which still lives on in the dishes, in the friendships, among the tables of this tavern, the last bastion of my lowlands.

A typical Lombard trattoria. Paintings on the walls and a coffered ceiling. In summer, you can eat under the portico. Lunch was excellent; the typical Lombard appetizer, with nervetti, cured meats, giardiniera, polenta with mushrooms and raspadura, was excellent. Then came the main course: risotto with braised beef cheek, truly delicious. For dessert, pears in wine with zabaglione were also perfect. Highly recommended, and I'll be back soon. Cost: €35 per person.

Sesmones "il Ristorante"

07/02/2026: The exterior is beautiful and well-kept, but the room had a few flaws, the most notable being the lack of a TV signal. The breakfasts were excellent, with plenty of variety; I would have liked more choice at dinner. The staff were extremely courteous.
18/11/2025: The apartment was very nice, the building new and super well-kept! It's a shame about some noise from the courtyard and the neighbors, which woke us up in the morning.

23/01/2026: This evening we tried the tasting menu: the quality of every course was excellent, and the service was impeccable. The price was more than fair considering the quantity and deliciousness of the food. We'll be back.
