Local restaurant, authentic, lots of locals. Fantastic food. The caponata was delicious. Pasta alla Trapani is also recommended.

My wife and I stopped here before we went back to the airport just before 3pm. We arrived around 2:40pm and they were still serving food. The food was incredible and came out hot! Best food of our trip and now dreaming of how im going to recreate this carbonara pasta in Australa! Thank you!

Fantastic trattoria; we went there two evenings in a row. The house wine is absolutely recommended, as are virtually all the dishes we tried: rustic antipasti, pasta with gambaretti rosso, pasta with speck and pistachios (incredibly delicious), a caponata that is second to none and we'd love to take back to Germany in jars by the ton, and the wonderfully grilled beef steak (tagliata). You should definitely spend at least one evening there and feast on it.

20/10/2025: We had the fish cous cous, busciate alla trapanese and swordfish and everything was delicious. Really lovely atmosphere too!
12/09/2025: If you don't lick your fingers, you're only halfway there! One of the best seafood couscous we've ever had! With fresh fish (robin, San Potrò, grouper, and more) and couscous made with locally sourced semolina. For two, couscous and a generous mixed salad, water, and service, €55. This restaurant boasts numerous awards over many years of restaurant experience. We'll definitely be back!

01/10/2025: Good service from the waiters. Good pasta. Apparently, I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed by the dish of the day and surprised to pay €25 for four paltry tuna meatballs, which were offered as a starter of the day and then paid for as a main course. They may be good (more flavorful elsewhere, in my opinion), but the dish wasn't worth €25, especially when presented like that without any clear instructions or price. The owner wasn't very attentive on this point, but simply continued to say that the tuna was special. The bread served was old and rubbery.
29/09/2025: All good, but perhaps it would be appropriate to disclose the price of off-menu items in advance. We had an appetizer and two first courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine for €95, of which the off-menu tuna meatballs alone cost €25.
