The place is very limited in terms of space and lighting. The restrooms could be improved. The food is good, but the quantity and quality aren't commensurate with the price of a trattoria. The friendly and welcoming owner creates a family-friendly atmosphere with a good level of tranquility.

We arrived on a Sunday without having planned anything about our visit... a phone call after reading the reviews. The place is welcoming in its simplicity, reminiscent of a family atmosphere. The sisters serving the tables are courteous, kind, and friendly. Since it was porcini mushroom picking season, our choices focused on dishes that made them the star of the show. We were truly satisfied... between porcini mushrooms and truffles. We highly recommend Antica Trattoria Del Riccio... thank you.

Today we had dinner at this historic trattoria. The atmosphere was simple and authentic. The dishes were excellent, with generous portions, and a fantastic off-menu dish: tagliatelle timbale. All the other courses, from appetizer to dessert, were also exceptional. It was hard to finish everything, but it would have been a shame to leave anything on our plate. To finish, we also had an excellent gentian liqueur. Home-style cooking, high quality, and reasonably priced! Highly recommended!

A restaurant with high-quality products, beautifully cooked and served. The owner is very attentive, kind, professional, and, at the same time, down-to-earth. He made us feel at ease and accommodated our every request. We thank him for his patience and attention to us and all the other diners. I recommend this restaurant for the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the service. We will return soon.

Ottima trattoria per gustare piatti tipici del Molise, affettati dí salumi e ottimi formaggi rendono gli antipasti squisiti! I ravioli ripieni e la polenta con funghi sono stati deliziosi, consigliata senza dubbi!

09/05/2025: Este restaurante es mucho más grande que lo que ves en la puerta, pero fue una gran experiencia con un gran y eficiente servicio con excelente comida y vino! Disfrutamos del ambiente y la comida tanto que volvimos una segunda vez durante nuestra estancia en Isernia. Compartimos una tabla de Charcutería como entrada con un poco de vino súper tinto de la región y tuve un Tagliatelle de Hongos con Trufa que estaba fuera de este mundo. En mi segunda noche aquí pedí el Filete de Carne con verduras y fue uno de los filetes mejor cocinados que he tenido en este viaje. Este chef sabe cómo cocinar un filete como debe ser, “Medium Rare”! Este casado con una copa de Montepulciano Abruzzo era en sí mismo memorable. ¡Y sin olvidar el Tiramisu! ¡Adelante! Isernia no es una ciudad grande, pero si estás allí, recomendaría este restaurante, ya que es un restaurante bien dirigido que sirve buena comida a precios que no romperán el banco! ¡Volveremos!
24/04/2025: Siamo ancora nel locale ma non posso fare a meno che dare un 10+ a questo locale davvero unico antipasto abbondante e gustoso il tris caldo di verdure spe-tta-co-la-re ma l’apice l’abbiamo raggiunto con i primi piatti tagliatelle porcini e tartufo spaziali cacio e pepe meglio che a Roma e gnocchi noci burrata e salsiccia come a casa davvero una cena con i fiocchi.Beh che dire di solito si aspetta il conto per stabilire il rapporto qualità prezzo del locale in questo caso il conto non conta siamo stati bene abbiamo mangiato piatti unici il personale è gentile e attento e questo per me non ha prezzo é un valore aggiunto.Abbiamo mangiato in molti posti ma mai così bene complimenti a voi Osteria O’Pizzaiuolo e arrivederci sicuramente

Locanda Mammi'

05/11/2025: Second time at this beautiful restaurant, and this time we were greeted by a Michelin star, which we were very happy about because they deserve it! We dined and stayed at Locanda Mammì and had a truly wonderful time. The three-course tasting menu, at a competitive price, exceeded our expectations. Special mention goes to the tongue appetizer with potato peel consommé: a journey of flavor that envelops the palate, and to the transhumance risotto, which is a true olfactory and taste experience. The dessert, the rose cake, is a little wonder! The staff is very kind and welcoming, and we can see that a lot of work and research goes into their dishes. They bring a special Molise to the table!
18/10/2025: My partner and I return here as often as we can to delight our palates. As far as I'm concerned, the entirely vegan menu is truly top-notch; I've eaten so well in few places. We particularly love this "locanda" because we've never left unsatisfied; on the contrary, the atmosphere and the sensory journey of the tasting always leave us pleasantly enchanted. 🙂
