An extraordinary and characteristic Bologna trattoria, one of the real ones, starting from the structure of the place to the owners and the staff for whom there are not enough words (when you see them together they seem like a family, they are so close-knit): genuine, competent, professional, helpful and extremely friendly. I have been going there for many years now, the quality and deliciousness of the local food is unmatched. As is the very fair price. One of the few non-touristy restaurants that still offer unhurried service, abundant and attentive in its simplicity. From tagliatelle to passatelli, from green lasagna to tortellini, cotoletta alla bolognese, boiled meat, sliced ​​guinea fowl etc... can we talk about the dessert trolley? The wine? Grappa and digestives?; bread and breadsticks are always available. Vegetarian or vegan, there is a solution for every need. Ample adjacent parking and an internal garden. Of all the ones I have tried, the Trattoria del Ponte Lungo remains the best.

Passing through Tuscany, I was pleasantly surprised to rediscover the authentic spirit of the old trattorias of yesteryear, those where simplicity was enough to feel good. We were welcomed by a smiling lady, lively in her way of speaking and always ready with a joke: a true bundle of energy and charm! The dining room was her natural stage—and with her enthusiasm, she made our lunch special. A true professional, who should teach many others how this profession is truly done. Let's get to the food: Tortellini in broth, mixed boiled meats, rice cake, tiramisu, water, and coffee: €70. A low price in my opinion, because the lady's presence alone makes the experience worthwhile, and the quality of the food is equally as good. Congratulations! 🎊

A wonderful discovery! Despite being from Bologna, I'd never been to this restaurant before. The traditional dishes are excellently prepared. I've never found lasagna like this in a restaurant; it truly tastes like the ones I used to eat at home. The tagliatelle with meat sauce or mushrooms are spectacular. The classic main courses, like guinea fowl or rabbit, are truly excellent. As a side, I recommend the friggione (fried pasta) and baked potatoes. Don't miss the zuppa inglese or rice cake for a final touch.
