This is my third time in Naples. We've tried various historic/typical Neapolitan trattorias, some of which were recommended by local guides, and I can honestly say that I've never found a Neapolitan ragù like Ettore's. The pasta with Neapolitan ragù and the main course (meat with tomato sauce) have a divine tomato sauce. I truly applaud the restaurant because I love tomato sauces, and the one I ate here was the best I've ever had. Simply perfect. All the other dishes are excellent, too; the Genovese is very good, but when I return to Naples, Ettore will definitely be a must-visit. Thank you for the unforgettable culinary experience you gave me!

We've been to this trattoria twice, and both times the food was truly excellent.
All the dishes were delicious and prepared with great care.
The house red wine is also delicious!
An authentic, welcoming place, and absolutely recommended.

It's a simple yet charming place, where attention to detail is evident. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a family feel that immediately makes you feel at ease. The service was warm and friendly, always attentive but not intrusive. I found the prices quite reasonable and in line with the quality offered. It exudes an authentic atmosphere reminiscent of traditional trattorias, without the need for unnecessary embellishments. It's the perfect place to spend a pleasant moment and leave feeling like you've made a great choice.

No menu. Owner with limited English explained the choices with very basic descriptions... Had the pasta with potatoes and tomato sauce. Outstanding. They basically thicken the sauce with potatoes. Never seen that before... Then had the octopus in tomatoes sauce that was a bit spicy. Also absolutely outstanding. Even the house red wine was great.

Really nice pasta and gnocchi! You are not given a menu, instead you are presented with the options and you decide from that.
