We were here for lunch and we ate really well. A special applause for the kindness of the staff who, despite the full place, were able to dedicate time to tell us about the dishes and the history of this ancient tavern. Compliments for the care and goodness of the dishes. If we are in the area, we will definitely come back to visit you.

Locale rustico ed elegante allo stesso modo. Un giusto mix di classe e genuinità. Il tagliere misto era abbondante e di qualità in tutti i suoi ingredienti. La pasta e fagioli, un piatto che mi ha fatto tornare indietro di 40 anni a tavola con i miei nonni. Il risotto della tradizione della bassa veronese idem. Ogni piatto ti fa tornare indietro agli anni 70 ed 80. Sapori che resteranno in noi per sempre. Il vino rosso della casa, cabernet, fresco e profumato. Servizio al top. Daniele passa tra i tavoli...ci tiene.

22/06/2025: Food from all courses absolutely delicious with lovely unexpected additions. Service a perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. Frequently underwhelmed when eating out in Italy as the food is often overhyped. So pleased to say that this experience was to the contrary. Recommended, and will definitely return when next in beautiful Verona.

22/06/2025: A great experience. The concept is a single menu with unlimited appetizers (excellent charcuterie, pickles, etc.), followed by four primi (first course) dishes, including a magnificent risotto all'amarone. If you're still hungry, three meat dishes are available. Then there's a dessert trolley, digestifs, hot chocolate, and coffee. The value for money is exceptional, and the service is very kind and friendly. We loved it and will definitely be back. Thank you!
