Antica Trattoria Americo In Lecco

I've been wanting to see this old trattoria for a while now... I finally made it, and I have to say I was very pleased! The food is simple but authentic; the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is typical of a trattoria... I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to step back in time! TOP 👍🏻

A lovely little place with a very retro feel that feels like home. A warm, family-friendly welcome, excellent food! Note that the water isn't a 0.75L bottle, but a full 1L. For a mixed appetizer, a first course, a second course, two side dishes, water, and a cover charge, we spent €49! Excellent cured meats, very good casoncelli, but it was the meat on the skewers cooked in wine that was truly exquisite! The polenta in the appetizer and second course was also light and delicious. It's a matter of taste, but I would have preferred less oil and butter, but everything was still very fresh! Attentive and friendly service, clearly a family-run business. We'll be back to try the desserts, too; this time we were full but light: you can tell it's homemade food made with love.

Excellent food, friendly staff, and a very welcoming family atmosphere. I recommend trying it; I go every time I'm in Lecco and always have a great time. Today was another positive experience. Thank you so much!

Everything was perfect: the setting, the atmosphere, warm and welcoming, the food excellent, the desserts wonderful, the service impeccable, it's hard to find better, very good.
