Lured by the good value for money advertised online, we went in.
We ordered 4 dumplings and 3 pappardelle with venison ragù, a half-liter of red wine on tap, 3 waters, and 3 coffees.
All for €107, with a €3 cover charge per person.
The owner wasn't very friendly; he even responded rudely to some questions about the menu (one of us had food intolerances).
The table setting and customer service need to be revisited, as does the restaurant itself, which needs a thorough overhaul.

I rarely feel so satisfied! Small but adorable place. Traditional cuisine, very kind and attentive owner. My mother-in-law was on crutches, and he made sure she could get out of the car in front of the restaurant by even moving his car. We have two dogs, and they were no problem. I recommend this restaurant to everyone; it feels like stepping back in time. Needless to say, we tried nine different dishes, all excellent, with generous portions. Thank you.

A trattoria just steps from the center of Trento where the food is truly excellent. We were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable host who gave us superb advice.
The restaurant's ambiance is stuck in the '70s and '80s, which makes it even more charming. An experience worth repeating!

Located in the heart of Trento, Antica Trattoria Al Volt is a jewel of local cuisine. The setting, with its vaulted ceilings and historic furnishings, offers a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. The menu offers typical dishes such as canederli in brodo, strangolapreti al burro, pappardelle al ragù di venison and the inevitable homemade apple strudel. The staff is friendly and helpful, ready to recommend the best pairing with local wines such as Teroldego. The quality-price ratio is excellent but given the limited availability of tables, reservations are recommended. An unmissable place for those who want to taste the real Trentino cuisine in a familiar and genuine context.

Absolutely recommended trattoria!
A “humble” place, small inside, with few seats (so reservations are recommended) but that makes you feel at home right away.
The staff is very kind and the dishes are exquisite.
The prices are definitely fair for the quality

Consigliato da un'amica della mia signora ci siamo avvalsi dell'offerta di questa trattoria! Un'ottica minimal ma perfettamente incastonato su una sala con volta ad arco che conferisce lo stile casereccio! Le pietanze buone, ma il coniglio era superlativo.... mai mangiato pietanza così buona!!!! Offerta vinaria piccola ma variegata, personale gentile e veloce, il signore datato simpatico! Qualità prezzo più che equa!

Trattoria informare e accogliente. Cibi tipici trentini e prezzi molto onesti. Abbiamo preso canederli in brodo, pappardelle con ragù di capriolo e uno strudel. Tutto ottimo.
