Siamo stati in questa trattoria per cena e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. La carbonara è squisita. Servizio veloce, un po’ frettoloso..appena finito siamo andati via anche se chiaramente essendo una zona molto frequentata dai turisti, è comprensibile che vogliano riempire i tavoli. Prezzi nella norma.Consigliato!

I waited to be a guest at Gallinaccio several times before writing a review, so as to have more elements of evaluation. Well, the strong point of this little jewel a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain is, in my opinion, the quality of the food which has little to do with tourism. It is difficult to find a place in the center that is attentive to Romanian culinary traditions and respect for tourists. The tripe, the carbonara and the delicious matriciana are good. High-quality cacio e pepe and an adequate wine cellar. Advised.

We had already been there last year by chance and left pleasantly surprised, almost a year later the experience was equally pleasant! It's a hidden but truly characteristic place (and I say this as a Roman). The Roman artichokes were excellent, we took the gricia with artichokes and the carbonara with truffles, both delicious as was the meat. The waiters and the owner were very nice and well trained. Amazing food, wine, bill and staff! We will definitely be back.

Gem of a place. Hidden away in via dei Gallinacci, this family run trattroria has something special from the moment you walk in. Staff are very accommodating and have a relaxed attitude with a level of calmness that that transmits immediately to the customer!
Once seated, you automatically tuned to the place.
Most importantly, the menu offers a variation of typical roman dishes as well as the better known Italian dished. Highly recommend is the tonnarelli cacio pepe and their carbonara dishes. The Main course are well balanced and compliment the fist course.
Lastly, their homemade tiramisu is to die for! Unexpected pleasent surprise that shaped our stay in Rome!
