A gem in Naples’ historic center. The place feels ancient in the best way, full of character and soul. The food is incredible, the staff warm like true Neapolitans, and the live jazz wraps the whole night in velvet. Authentic, atmospheric, and easily one of the best dining experiences in the city.

We stumbled upon this little place in the historic center of Naples, and as soon as we entered, we immediately felt a sense of warmth and hospitality. Seated inside with a beautiful jazz record playing in the background, we were greeted by kind and attentive waitresses. The menu offers a few dishes, but they're all freshly made, which is something we particularly appreciate. The food was tasty (the ragù was EXCEPTIONAL, as was the steak, truly delicious!!) with generous portions and a more than reasonable price. Even the desserts, tiramisu and panna cotta, were fresh and truly delicious. An experience I'd happily repeat and highly recommend to anyone passing through the historic center!

Amazing food, service and atmosphere

From the outside, it looks like one of those nice, warm places... with very traditional dishes and super-charged flavors. Let's just say we were a little disappointed. We started with an aperitif with platters and cheeses, which was very disappointing. Very good wine. Then we had three menus, all different and hand-corrected... since it was a single A4 sheet, I probably would have reprinted it. For starters, we had two pasta dishes with Neapolitan ragù and a gnocco alla sorrentina. But it felt more like supermarket fare than typical fare, starting with the platter. We sat outside because they were the only free seats... The tables seemed to be floating. The wait was definitely long; we had a plan to catch the subway at 11 and didn't make it, but they were very kind.

The service is a shame. They don't respect the order in which the order is taken when ordering your order; the last one to arrive is the first. Plus, we had to wait an hour for a second course without bringing the first course, or even serving the bread, which they then charge for. The food isn't bad, but the service is subpar. A shame.

This is a lovely, traditional italian restaurant. The food is freshly cooked, so don't expect it to appear as soon as you order it. Relax, enjoy your wine and the company of who you are with. The small team will bring you your tasty, fresh meal when it is cooked. It will be worth the wait.

Although the appearance of the place is not impressive, the food is fantastic and some of the nearby Michelin-rated establishments cannot stand the competition.
