Every time I come to Florence, this is my first stop. The Capoccia with salsa verde is my favorite. At 6.50€ it’s a bargain, and just enough ‘cracklin’ (pork skin) inside. The guys there are great. Grab one and stop at the Palazzo Vecchio to eat on the steps.

Excellent sandwich, nice and hot and very full! Anyone who complains about the quality of their porchetta should stop buying it at the supermarket and try real porchetta... like the one from Antica Porchetteria Granieri! When I return to Florence I will definitely return to them too!

It caught our attention, the service is fast and efficient, for me the best was the Mediceo, which was very good. We were surprised that the porchetta was cold, unlike the bread which was a little warm. Still, it is worth trying and eating while walking around the city.

Helt klart annorlunda lunchställe som rekommenderas. Detta förtutsätter att man äter griskött. Enkelt, supergott och prisvärt. Man kan ra med maten eller sitta på ovanvåningen och äta sin mat. Går bra att köpa öl eller även vin. Här är det en fast food restaurang som erbjuder lokal mat. Himmelskt gott och trevligt. Måste provas och upplevas.

01/04/2025: Some tastes were really really good, but some of them were so-so. Anyway almost every tastes with chocolate were definitely thumb-up! Gelato is always the love, so five stars! Unfortunately, there are some differences in quality between flavors. Still, the chocolate flavor is so delicious that I give it a thumbs up! One way or another, gelato is love, so five stars!

31/03/2025: Good selection of natural wines, the place is small but welcoming. They serve some sandwiches and some dishes of typical products. A bottle or a glass cannot be missed when passing through Florence
03/03/2025: Sono stata alla Casa del Vino con amici. Il locale è un luogo dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato e dove si possono gustare ottimi panini accompagnati da vino eccellente. Io ho assaggiato un panino con merluzzo, olive, salsa verde e ceci. Davvero superlativo! Squisito anche il piatto di verdure. Accoglienza perfetta.
