Antica Porchetteria Granieri 1916 In Firenze

Capoccia was the most delicious in Italy! Both the green sauce and spicy versions were great. I ate there every day I was in Florence. Google's opening hours aren't very accurate. It shows they close at 9 pm, but they actually close at 8 pm. Don't miss it because of that. Also, the waitresses are much friendlier than the waiters. On my last day (January 20th, 11 am), I was served by a male waiter. He shortchanged me on the bill; I don't know if it was intentional, but it wasn't a very pleasant experience.

My wife and I stumbled upon this porchetteria by chance. We were starving and decided to grab a quick snack: we ordered two Norcino Pro. What can I say... the flavor was unbeatable! We loved it; everything was excellent.

Something & somewhere you won't just be able to walk past without taking a long look and finally deciding it's something you must get. This is a must try in Florence although there do seem to be many different places to try it from.

Delicious porchetta sandwich, crispy bread, onions, salsa verde and chili spread…. So good!

Tried today: porchetta sandwich with salsa verde and porchetta sandwich with truffle cream. The bread was crumbly and easy to digest, the porchetta was tasty.

Good pork sandwich. You buy from a window and you get a sandwich wrapped in paper. It was good to grab something easy when you’re on the move but not worth a special trip.

Oh my god! Absolutely the best! First place we went as soon as we arrived in Florence.

Short break, excellent bruschetta, very nice.

I found out this by chance walking by. We got two sandwiches one with pecorino and one with tomato balsamic. Both were great. The pork is seasoned well and the overall combinations work well. Would try it again.
