A very warm welcome, smiling and attentive staff who made an effort to communicate in French... the food was very good. A very enjoyable experience. A place worth trying... note that there is a cover charge of €4.50 per person.

We had a wonderful experience at Osteria Sora al Ponte. The food was absolutely delicious and everything was prepared with great care. A special thank you to Marco and Matteo, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the evening. We chose this place for Valentine’s Day because I wanted to surprise my boyfriend and they really helped make the night special We left very happy and satisfied. Highly recommended!

02/04/2026: April '26. We went there because of the special offer on the seafood set (17 euros) - probably not expensive for central Venice. The food is tasty, but average. Not super-duper. There's a restroom on the second floor.

11/02/2026: Best food I had my entire trip! I saw it through the window and knew I wanted to stop in. We were there around 5 and they said they didn’t serve dinner until 6:30 so we had cheese and wine and came back later for dinner. The truffle filet was the absolute most amazing thing I had the whole trip. The entire dish meshed so well together. The turbo filet was also amazing. The fish I had in Venice before this was very fishy but my husbands fish was perfectly cooked and not fishy at all. They made extra accommodations for us since we walked in and were so aware of our comfort, as a restaurant professional I was truly impressed. Please give this place a try! It’s expensive but it’s worth it!
