Mid-August dinner for six at the “Antica Osteria Saracena del Bergallo” in the magnificent village of Verezzi. The quality of the cuisine and the service make it a sure point of reference in the catering of Western Liguria. Among the dishes that excite, we cannot fail to mention, among all the delicacies that make up the rich menu that manages to satisfy any need or taste, the spectacular "Misto Marinati", the "Fassona steak cooked with a knife" and the "Catalana di Prawns ”. The sympathy of Mr. Paolo and the magnificent location, with a breathtaking view of the gulf beyond Gallinara Island, are that plus that make stopping here to restore body and spirit particularly pleasant. In conclusion, the "Antica Osteria Saracena del Bergallo" is truly a place of the heart.

The location beats the quality of the food

Excellent food, slightly expensive but the view pays off.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Liguria in terms of food and location. The restaurant offers breathtaking views with its outdoor terraces. They are well ventilated even in summer and this gives a feeling of peace and freshness even on the hottest days. The quality of the food lives up to the location. A complete experience on all fronts that is difficult to find in restaurants in general. The only flaw was the fact that it was noticed that a gentleman on the staff had a disagreement with some of his colleagues, it was clear that something internally at staff level was not in order. Prices not among the cheapest, but I highly recommend the experience, it's worth it!

Family dinner on Saturday evening, more than satisfied! Good and particular dishes, kind and helpful service... But everything is certainly improved by the incredible view of the Ligurian coast, a magical landscape both day and night. Furthermore, the small village is almost magical. Correct price given the location, recommended!

Good experience.. Kindness right from booking on the phone!!! They welcomed us from the beginning as if we were family... lovely place with a beautiful view of the sea... we had lunch on one of the many terraces they have!! What can I say? exquisite food...excellent raw materials...fresh fish cooked with passion! Gorgeous dessert, a tar taen with mouth-watering ice cream!!! I highly recommend it to everyone.. Excellent Osteria in the ancient village of Verezzi, located in the main alley and with two terraces for the summer period. Beautiful and well-kept location, with an incredible sea view, excellent for appointments. The service was very good, as regards the menu, we ate well at the ancient Saracen tavern, the starters were top (mixed marinated ingredients and focaccione), for the first courses the tagliolini with cheese and pepper with sea urchin was very good while a shame for the spaghetti with clams and bottarga which was good but had a bit of oil and the chopped and not grated bottarga didn't convince us. Correct prices for the location and for what we ate.

Ich habe mit meiner Partnerin Ende Juni einige Tage Verezzi verbracht. Das schmucke pittoreske kleine mittelalterliche Dorf hat es uns sehr angetan. Am 29. Juni durfte ich mit der Familie des Restaurationsbetriebs beziehungsweise mit Freunden von ihnen im ganz privaten Rahmen das EM-Fussballspiel Schweiz : Italien anschauen. Ich wurde aufgenommen wie ein alter Bekannter und ich genoss die familiäre Ambiente. Nach dem Fussballmatch habe ich mit meiner Partnerin im grossen Saal des Restaurants, direkt an der langen Fensterfront mit fantastischer Aussicht auf die ligurische Küste, einfache aber sehr feine Hausmannskost serviert bekommen. Typische ligurische Spezialitäten. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste im Saal, die offene gedeckte Dachterrasse war jedoch bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt. Das Restaurant können wir sehr gerne weiter empfehlen und die Gastgeberfamilie ist reizend und sehr herzlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
