Antica Osteria La Muda di San Boldo dal 1470 In Cison di valmarino

My husband and I traveled about a hundred km to have lunch and it was worth it. The environment is very welcoming, especially the room with the fireplace in the center which creates a homely atmosphere. The dishes are prepared with local and top quality products. The tavern is among our favorite places.

Small, well furnished place, average service. Since it is an old "tavern * I was expecting more "rustic" dishes, however it was 8 and overall everything was ok. The only note was that the "bulk" red wine was not appreciated a bit by all of us but we know everyone has their own tastes

Good cuisine and well-kept internal environment; the external one can be improved. In my opinion, portions a little too small for a tavern. The desserts didn't fully convince me. Two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two desserts, a bottle of house wine, a bottle of water, two coffees and a digestive offered for around €78

A wonderful place respecting tradition

It is useless to talk about the history of this place which is well described everywhere. Instead, I would like to tell you about the welcome of Federica (the owner, Roman like me) and her husband (the Chef) and the delights that can be enjoyed here in this historic inn. The food is prepared in a sublime way, we have been going there for years and in every season, every time we are pleasantly surprised and satisfied by the dishes we taste and the good wine we drink, everything is always prepared and served with care, from the appetizer to the desserts . We brought friends and relatives, every time there is always a good opportunity to come here, even just for an aperitif of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by homemade jams and then why not... also for a good ice cream, perhaps with eggnog , my favorite! I don't post photos of the dishes by choice, they wouldn't give the right value to the real quality of the food being served. I'll leave it up to you to try! Great experience! The restaurant is cared for down to the smallest detail and furnished with pieces of local craftsmanship. The food is excellent and typical served by friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

Bellissimo locale curato, pulito, accogliente. Personale in ordine, preparato e gentile. In quattro abbiamo mangiato alcuni antipasti tre secondi e un primo. Tutto molto buono. Qualità prezzo giusto. Lo consiglio 👍🏻

Sono stata a cena alla Muda, invitata da degli amici. Non avevo alcun tipo di aspettativa, poichè non ne avevo mai sentito parlare, e neppure mi ero informata prima di andarci. Bhe, è stata un'esperienza oltre le mie aspettative. Il tutto a partire dalla strada per arrivarci. Il passo di San Boldo è qualcosa di unico e percorrerlo ti trasporta subito in un'altra dimensione. Poi l'osteria stessa è una piccola chicca. Servizio impeccabile e cibo buonissimo. Sapori autentici e del territorio locale. Abbiamo provato di tutto e non saprei proprio dire cose fosse più buono e cosa meno buono. Era tutto preparato perfettamente.
