Monday evening without reservation, free table. It's ours. Creamed cod, lasagna, tripe, pork cheek, 2 desserts, water, wine, coffee. And who's going to kill us!! Perfect end to the evening after a day of full immersion in Pado to visit

In some cases the menu offers Venetian cuisine which isn't bad, the service is efficient, the atmosphere is mixed, some Venetians and some tourists, but the spaces are a bit cramped, the context is generally nice.

I had lunch with a dear friend who lives in Padua: we ate some traditional dishes very well but cooked with a light and modern touch.
It is a small and typical tavern: I really like the slightly outdated decor. The space is small, but you feel comfortable and don't bother other customers. Indeed, a pleasant muffled atmosphere is created, everyone speaks without raising their voices and the effect is relaxing.
We arrived early, we hadn't booked, but there was room, before the second round.
We had 2 appetizers:
- The sardines in saor were very good and served with sweet and sour vegetables, fresh and tasty.
- A ricotta tart with browned on DOP gorgonzola cream: served hot, a tasty and delicate flavour.
And then 2 seconds:
- Braised pork cheek on pumpkin polenta: the contrast between the meat and the slightly sweet pumpkin cream is very interesting.
- Old-fashioned tripe: a dish of slightly red tripe with the typical soppressa and the typical white polenta of Padua.
We didn't have any desserts, although some interesting ones passed by.
A place that never disappoints.

We were in this place for the first time, even if it is small the staff knows how to put you at ease with real care and attention. The dishes we tasted.....all really tasty and a little out of the "usual", very inviting indeed. Pomegranate seeds are the feature of many dishes.

Informal place, a little small but the food and service make up for it well. I took the braised pork cheek with pumpkin cream (excellent combination! I also liked the pomegranate seeds, I would have added more!) and mixed accompanying vegetables, all very good! The bread was also fresh and tasty. The friendly, helpful and very kind waiters made me feel at home! I was sad not to have cash for the tip because they really deserve it! I also treated myself to a dessert, the postacchio cake with white chocolate filling and red fruit topping, the fruits very fresh and delicious. Proportioned for a tavern :)

A due passi dal Palazzo della Ragione questa trattoria offre - in una location tradizionale - piatti tipici della cucina regionale. Ho preso le sarde in saor, che non mi hanno appassionato, e un discreto baccalà alla veneta servito con due fette di polenta bianca. Servizio veloce ma anonimo. Si tratta di una discreta soluzione per mangiare in centro, di autentico tuttavia si conserva poco.

Osteria a 100m dal Duomo.
Location piccola e arredata in modo semplice.
Menù tipico con una buona scelta di piatti.
Abbiamo provato dei bigoli alla crema di acciughe e delle tagliatelle al pomodoro per la bambina.
I bigoli ben cotti, quantità di pasta giusta e condimento super gustoso (li consiglio).
Per finire un buon tiramisù e un ottimo e particolare tortino al pistacchio con all'interno del cioccolato bianco e sopra una salsa ai frutti biscotti.
Personale molto gentile e disponibile, prezzi onesti.
Consiglio la prenotazione perché è sempre pieno
