As others have pointed out, don't believe the bad reviews. We had meal for 8 including kids and adults ranging into 70s, all foodies. We had an exceptional meal from antipasti through to deserts. Felt like a real family restaurant and in a beautiful quiet position. We had quite a few meals in our Chiavari holiday and this was by far the best.

Tried the special of the day (lasagna pesto) was Amazing.
Huge portion that I could not finish.
Lovely polite waiter
And a lovely host.
The area was quiet and lovely and yes there are cheaper options in Chiavari but it's not the same quality.

Cheap trattoria with simple but well-cooked dishes. Very good octopus salad, average shin with potatoes.
Unfortunately the service was not very attentive to the customer.

We finally decided to have lunch out on Easter day, despite the reviews we had read, so we wanted to try it anyway.
The friendly staff, especially the boy, the wait was long for the dishes, of which I would have expected more
Decent appetizers, dry lasagne, only ragù, no bechamel, I didn't like them, decent crepes
Lamb ditto, tasteless potatoes to review the quality of a bit of everything
Considering that the cover charge is 5 euros, excessive, madness
I wouldn't return.

The dishes are very tasty and carefully prepared and the final desserts are a specialty of the Lady, who with her kindness and friendliness adds value to this restaurant which we certainly recommend.

Ambiente accogliente, ordinato e pulito, con un respiro familiare e rilassante.
Personale educato e gentile, proprietaria cordiale e simpatica che interloquisce con i clienti in modo piacevole e discreto come succedeva, in passato, nei ristorazione di migliore tradizione italiana. Musica di sottofondo gradevole e al giusto volume, adeguati tempi di attesa delle portate, piatti molto gustosi ben calibrati ed originali, corrette quantità, dolci favolosi. Ristorante davvero consigliato.
