Restaurant in the center of Rome. Friendly staff and fair prices. I would have appreciated if they had told me that the carbonara would be served with short pasta and not long, I expected the traditional one. Not bad on the taste.

Perfect for eating on the go, not expensive at all considering the products and the sandwiches are excellent. Very warm welcome, they are really adorable and make the effort to speak English.

The name says "Antica" but the menu is up to date. Some interesting options and local dishes, all very well prepared with the help of friendly staff. We felt welcome and the prices were ok.

4.2/5 - This restaurant is pretty centrally located, but tucked away on a side street which gives it a lot more charm than the places on the main streets. The highlight here was definitely the food, especially the pasta! Cooked perfectly and super flavorful, our group tried all 4 Roman pasta dishes and all of them were amazing, but I have to say the Amatriciana really stood out to me. The service was great when we got it, but I think this place could use an extra staff member. While our server was charming and friendly, he was forgetting a few things that we asked for and not checking in on us as frequently as we would have liked because he seemed to be serving all tables. I don't really blame the guy to be honest, and he was really attentive with us when he could be. The restaurant itself is pretty small, with a cozy atmosphere in the main room. We were tucked away in a smaller back room which was still OK but a little more cramped and isolated than the primary space. This really didn't ruin our dinner at all as we had a great experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant since it was some of the best food we had in Rome and deserving of the high praise a lot of other reviewers here give it. Maybe just don't come during peak dinner time if possible!

Definirla semplicemente "buona" sarebbe riduttivo: qui si parla di una cucina stratosferica. Ogni piatto è un omaggio alla vera tradizione gastronomia romana. Ma non sono solo i primi piatti a conquistare il palato. I secondi, che spaziano dalla succulenta coda alla vaccinara al tenerissimo abbacchio alla scottadito, sono un vero e proprio inno alla carne di qualità e alla sapienza culinaria romana. E per concludere in dolcezza, i dolci fatti in casa.Il personale di sala è cortese, attento e preparato, pronto a consigliare i piatti del giorno e ad abbinare il vino perfetto per esaltare i sapori. Il servizio è impeccabile, senza essere invadente, contribuendo a creare un'atmosfera rilassata e conviviale. L'Antica Hosteria non è un locale alla moda o pretenzioso. Assolutamente consigliato a chiunque desideri assaporare la vera anima di Roma attraverso i suoi sapori più autentici, coccolato da un'ospitalità genuina e professionale del proprietario Gianpietro. Prenotare è vivamente consoglaito, per non perdere l'occasione di vivere questa esperienza culinaria stratosferica.

Locale piccolo con tavolini troppo piccoli. Sistemati in un tavolino anche se il locale è rimasto pressoché vuoto. Servizio insufficiente, l'unico cameriere era sempre al telefono per fatti propri e il tavolo è rimasto sempre apparecchiato. Ordinativi a rilento anche con locale vuoto. Nonostante ciò, parmigiana e cacio e pepe superlativi, carbonara un po' meno. Prezzi forse un po' alti per il contesto complessivo.
