Excellent cuisine, from appetizers to desserts, quick and friendly service, very beautiful location and characteristic of the first Ligurian hinterland.

We stumbled upon Osteria Cà degli Olivi almost by chance, near the charming Cinque Campanili church, and were pleasantly surprised.
Even though it was late and we hadn't booked (we were just finishing climbing in the Grotta dell'Edera cave), we were greeted with great courtesy and helpfulness.
The atmosphere is intimate, with attention to detail, and the pleasant atmosphere of a true, old-fashioned osteria.
We ordered traditional dishes: meatballs in tomato sauce, potatoes, rabbit, and octopus—all truly excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. The portions were modest, the cuisine authentic, and the bill was more than fair.
A simple yet sincere place, where you eat well and feel at home.
One note: no commercial soft drinks like Coca-Cola, but excellent Ichnusa beer in a 0.50 bottle.
Highly recommended for those seeking authentic flavors and a genuine welcome.

The location and atmosphere were beautiful and welcoming. We ordered: mixed house antipasto, tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, chestnut flour tagliatelle with hare sauce, tagliolini with pesto (for the child), main courses: braised beef in Barolo wine, donkey stew, snails with greens, and for dessert: a berry cheesecake, a salted caramel cheesecake, a chocolate and almond cake, and a fig jam tart. Everything was excellent! The only flaw was the bread, which wasn't great, but since everything else was so good, it was easy to overlook. The prices aren't typical of a trattoria, but we already knew that. Highly recommended.

I always recommend booking a table because the place isn't very big. We had lunch outside and reserved a table the day before. The dishes are well-seasoned and the portions are just right...
The menu offers a nice selection of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, typical of Ligurian cuisine. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean and very welcoming.
Dogs are welcome.
A little tip: if you have time, instead of parking in Perti Alta, park in Final Borgo and walk up to the restaurant along the dirt road that leads first to Castel San Giovanni and then to Castel Govone. It's well-marked and clean. It's a moderate climb, and it takes about half an hour to walk up.

A place reminiscent of the Middle Ages just around the corner; a simple yet impressive inn, with truly excellent dishes, thanks to the chef in the kitchen, and attentive service from the very kind mother (of the young chef, in fact...).
Fantastic Genoese minestrone, braised beef in Barbera, what a deal! Trombette pasta on the side was equally delicious.
Homemade fig tart to die for.
...and nothing to worry about, so I'll return soon.
