I recently dined at Antica Locanda La Lombarda in Lentate sul Seveso and had a genuinely enjoyable experience. The food is the true highlight here: every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, fresh, and deeply flavorful. The crudo di mare, in particular, was outstanding — incredibly fresh, beautifully presented. The service was fair and generally attentive, even if not exceptionally warm; everything arrived on time and the staff were polite and efficient. The atmosphere, however, could use some refinement. The lighting feels a bit harsh and the dining space would benefit from a more comfortable layout to make the environment as inviting as the food deserves. Despite these small shortcomings, the quality of the cuisine more than compensates. I would definitely return, especially for the seafood, and I recommend the restaurant to anyone looking for authentic flavors and well-executed dishes in a traditional setting.

If I had to find a small flaw: the prices are a bit high. A charcuterie appetizer to share, two main courses, and house wine cost €90, which I think is a bit steep, but everything was delicious!
