Antica Dimora del Gruccione In Santu lussurgiu

A truly stunning 17th-century residence for a stop in Santu Lussurgiu. Although the setting is very picturesque, I can't give it 5 stars because: - The room was a bit bare and dated. The parquet flooring was very noisy and slanted, so my single bed was also slanted. Furthermore, the topper was crooked and the mattress uncomfortable. I also slept poorly due to the noise from the restaurant; there's no soundproofing. - The restaurant was OK, but for a dinner costing almost €50 a head, I might have expected a little more. It was all good, mind you, but pretty standard. It's worth noting that the service was impeccable, though! So yes, it was a truly special experience, but for someone who's traveled to many hotels in different countries, I'd say the prices aren't adequate for the standard of service. I'd happily return, but perhaps skipping dinner at the restaurant and especially with headphones to sleep 😅

There are multiple parking lots near the accomodation. The stay itself was marvellous, the inner courtyard fascinating. Breakfast was really beautiful.

An exceptional and charming hotel, "diffuse", offering varied premises and even a library! Pretty interior courtyard with trees, beautiful dining room, excellent tasting menu, beautiful wine list, charming welcome and service, perfection!

A relaxing weekend at the Antica Dimora. We were welcomed by Daniele (who contacted me by email and WhatsApp) who explained how to get there, as the town is a beautiful village 😍 very welcoming and kind. The Dimora is well-kept, clean, and quiet. We slept well on the very comfortable mattress. We really appreciated the bathroom with the tub, super relaxing 🥰 Polpetta was welcomed with affection ❤️ Absolutely recommended!! Thanks to all the staff, everyone was very kind. Oh, I forgot, the excellent breakfast, especially the persimmons and the chocolate and ricotta cake 🤤🤤🤤

We were there with a large tour group. The service was first-class, the food simply wonderful. The best I've had in Sardinia so far. I highly recommend this restaurant. A cozy, romantic spot, lovingly decorated with lots of plants, artwork, and books. Be careful when ordering! Some of the wines on the list are unexpectedly expensive, up to €300 per bottle. However, there are also affordable alternatives for €7-8 per glass.
