Excellent, nice environment great service

I had gone at least 5-6 times before the change of management and before that I would have given 5 stars without the slightest doubt, in fact I would have given even more if it had been possible. Currently, however, as kind as the staff are, there are some kids who are not very knowledgeable and have arrived at the table without remembering which dish was the one brought. Furthermore, as much as I appreciated the cold cuts platter, the first one was average, nothing exceptional. The second one, however, I found very stringy, but I want to give them credit for apologizing and not making us pay for that dish. Maybe I started out with VERY high expectations knowing how it was before, but I was a little disappointed. PS: With the old management, with the 50 euros each that we spent (eating a lot) they would have offered us some bitters, this time nothing.

Siamo tornati in questo locale dopo il cambio di gestione. L'atmosfera non è cambiata se non per le tovaglie che da quelle di carta sono passate a quelle di stoffa. Il menu è un insieme di piatti "tradizionali" e altri più sperimentali. Purtroppo i giudizi sui piatti non sono stati sempre concordi. La carbonara è stato il piatto più deludente: la crema di uovo e pecorino era solo uovo non abbastanza cotto, il guanciale non era tale e non era nemmeno pancetta, la presenza di grani interi di pepe una scelta scriteriata e le penne giganti usate al posto della pasta presente nel menù erano troppo cotte. Una delusione. Le linguine al pesto con menta, agrumi e pomodorini sono state divisive: ad un conmensale sono piaciute ad un altro invece per nulla (lasciate in gran parte nel piatto). I secondi non sono stati molto migliori: il filetto alla griglia era buono ma anche in questo caso la presenza di molti grani di sale non aiutava la degustazione (ci si ritrovava a sputare i grani finiti in bocca). Le costine di patanegra erano buone, il frico accettabile se non fosse che nella patria di questo piatto forse si poteva fare di meglio. Prezzi: 14 euro un primo e 22 euro un secondo con contorno. Forse un prò troppo vista la posizione e la qualità del cibo. Non voglio fare paragoni con la precedente gestione perchè non sarebbe corretto, mi limito a dire che dovrebbero forse rivedere alcuni piatti e cercare di fidelizzare la clientela con un offerta meno costosa.

When we pass through those areas it is an obligatory stop to refresh ourselves before or after the transit to the Rest pass on a motorbike.

Only stopped for a quick stop, so the place cannot be judged, maybe next time we will try the restaurant and I will change my rating.

Stopped for a beer on the way back from Pozze, a very well located bar, and a welcoming and friendly waiter.
