A place that makes you feel at home. The rooms are large, with a nice bathroom. Well maintained and above all clean. The restaurant is the flagship. It is family run and the cuisine is of a high standard. Right portions and always cold drinks. The service is attentive and never intrusive. Strangely, they know how to make pizza well despite being far from Naples. The dishes are well prepared and refined in their ingredients. Prices are average. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant. I recommend stopping by for the quality of the food. The sociable owner is friendly, even the waiter who ran up and down the stairs, always available and present despite the full tables. Well done, well done. Until next time

Fantastic experience, in the center of Lavello. Forentum is not a place to eat or sleep, or rather, it is not the classic place you go to because you don't know where to go.
It is a place of aggregation, of profound tradition and true innovation managed by Savino in an incredible way.
The restaurant offers the opportunity to try traditional recipes from Basilicata in the ancient way with a unique respect for the ingredients, all local, and with a workmanlike execution. An absolute must-try is the ravioli filled with sweet ricotta and topped with sauce, a work of art that excites every single taste bud like no other before.
Also in the restaurant it is possible to try the pizzas, burgers or sushi, expertly made as only a true enthusiast can do. And Savino is a huge enthusiast, able to bring together tradition and innovation in a simple way, without forcing, which simply makes you happy.
The suite rooms also enjoy modern but not tacky furnishings, with all comforts. Comfortable mattress, bathroom, shower, sink, walk-in closet and desk, plus a small refrigerator.
In short, a place that has become, what seems like a shadow of a doubt, a reference, and to which I will return to discover this wonderful land that is Basilicata. I once again congratulate the creator of all this, the creator of a work that is more unique than rare in all of Italy.

Nice atmosphere and place.
The food is good and the pizza is decent, nothing spectacular, but still enjoyable.
The service is a little slow, but the staff is still quite friendly.
The location is not fully accessible and the nearby car parks are always full.
I don't find anything sensational, but overall it's still a good restaurant/pizzeria.

We spent our Valentine's Day here at Forentum, with the tasting menu created for the event. It was a truly incredible experience.
The restaurant is located on different levels and our table was in the "deepest" part, in a real cave. A secluded and romantic location, truly a gem.
The chef's proposals are all surprising. With tears we finished the truffle egg, of which I don't know the exact ingredients and name of the dish, but I assure you that you will even forget your own name while enjoying such goodness. Starter, first course and second course were accompanied by a glass of wine per course, respectively white, rosé and red carefully selected to enhance the flavor of the dishes offered.
The kindness of the owners and staff encourages the desire to return as soon as possible. So, see you soon Forentum! 🤍

Nell'assaporare "i cauzuncidd" vicino al castello una volta dimora della dinastia degli Svevi è un tuffo nei sapori e nella storia. Del castello è rimasta una torre a causa di un incendio ma la meraviglia resta quando la tradizione antica di questo piatto vive sulla tavola di una coppia giovane di ristoratori Savino e Aurora.
