This hospital may not have the newest facilities or the shortest wait times, but what sets it apart is the extraordinary compassion shown by every technician, nurse, and doctor I encountered. The atmosphere was filled with genuine care—from the way staff treated me to the empathy and patience they extended to patients of all ages, backgrounds, and identities. Their attention to detail and deep concern for each individual didn’t go unnoticed. Because of this unwavering humanity, I believe it’s the best hospital in Toronto.

I went to Sunnybrook Allergy Clinic for the first time. It was a great experience. Staff, doctor, nurses were very friendly. All was explained and done as expected.

On April 1st my wife underwent surgery by Dr Patricia E. Lee Gynaecologist, one of the best doctors of Sunnybrook Hospital. From our initial consultation to the surgery, our experience has been outstanding. Special words for Kim Alberico, the clinical and administrative assistant We appreciate how efficiently she facilitated the whole process, ensuring a swift and smooth journey from our initial appointment to the post surgery stage. Dr. Lee deserves exceptional recognition for her professionalism, patience, and kindness. Her ability to explain complex medical concepts in a clear and reassuring manner instilled confidence in us, making the entire experience less daunting. Thanks to Dr. Lee's expertise and compassion, my wife's surgery was a success, and she's recovering well with minimal discomfort. We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and entire team at Sunnybrook Hospital for the exceptional care my wife received. ⸻ I’ve never been to such a well-run hospital. I went to see Dr. Jenkinson on Monday, April 21, for a hip evaluation. After our discussion, he told me surgery would likely happen in 3–6 months—but that someone would follow up with me the next day. Sure enough, his office called and let me know there was a cancellation for Thursday. Today is Friday, and I’m already on my way home—feeling pretty good. I want to thank Donna, Dr. Martin Van der Vyyer, and the entire anesthesia team. Also a big thanks to Michelle, Pang, Vivia, the occupational therapist (she was lovely and only 37!), and the physiotherapist. Everyone was kind, professional, and truly made my stay easier. Amazing experience. I would highly recommend them and Dr. Jenkinson
