Angeli & Marinai In Minturno

We arrived very early and ordered right away. The waiter was kind and professional, the mussel sauté was good, the cod meatballs (which today were made with a different fish) were very good, but perhaps €15 for three meatballs is a bit overpriced. The first courses were fantastic: tonnarelli with lemon octopus (€16) and calamarata with mussels (€18). Even the first courses we ordered (which were also the cheapest on the menu) were higher than average, considering the table setting was nice, but certainly not upscale. That's just to clarify why I'm not giving it 5 stars; the restaurant deserves the extra ten euros for the flavors it offers.

The seafood delicacies were good, but the spaghetti with sea urchin, which wasn't on the menu, was less so... the sea urchin was overcooked... the amberjack tartare and the babà were excellent... a good experience...

Quiet and well-kept place just a stone's throw from the Scauri seafront. Very friendly staff. The fish is fresh and very well cooked. I highly recommend it.

It was really great! All the food was delicious. Octopus in pasta was special. I have never tasted such tender octopus in any country in the world! The attitude towards guests is at the highest level. The owner personally approaches guests with a friendly smile. For the entire dinner for two, including wine, water and a complimentary olives, we paid only 55€ and the pleasure received deserves a million! We will definitely come again. Thank you!
