Excellent dinner: good pizzas, sandwiches, desserts and drinks. I particularly liked the tiramisu! We were here on an evening when there was a tribute to 883 and a DJ set. The music is very engaging but in my opinion they should reduce the volume between 8pm and 10pm while people are having dinner. The event was supposed to start at 11pm but in reality it started half an hour later but all in all it was a nice evening.

Nice place, top people... fun guaranteed, the only flaw is the non-alcoholic cocktails... too sweet (very people indeed) but I must say a good compromise even for those who are no longer in their twenties 😉

Veniamo spesso in questo locale che sa coccolarci e farci sentire a nostro agio con birre e cocktail di tanti tipi. Personale disponibile, preparato, simpatico e alla mano! Abbiamo provato anche la cena e non nego che ogni tanto si cena più che volentieri! Bella la musica dal vivo e il mitico dj! Locale stile saloon americano in legno e con le harley appese e sparse sui muri. Torniamo sempre volentieri!!

Abbiamo festeggiato qui i 50 anni di mio marito. Sia al momento della prenotazione che al tavolo ho ricevuto professionalità e cortesia! Abbiamo cenato scegliendo il menu pinsa a prezzi onesti e abbiamo ballato e cantato fino a tarda notte con il gruppo musicale Cani sciolti”. Concludo dicendo che 19 adulti piuttosto maturi si sono divertiti veramente molto!!

I was there on a Friday evening for a concert by the group Party a 90. A beautiful evening from all points of view. I ate an excellent cut. Very tender and tasty, cooked just right, served with delicious grilled vegetables. Exquisite. Professional and kind staff. Very honest prices also taking into account the quantity and the fact that a surcharge is not required for the live performance as is now the case in many other places. Highly recommended. I will definitely be back for other live shows!!!!

I happened to go last night to celebrate my birthday, the staff were lovely, nothing to say but when it was time to pay a cashier was only open! A kilometer-long queue that almost reached the exit!! then we were unable to pay by dividing the bill among friends!!! I had a terrible birthday!

31 Dec 24 with all the company of friends. A good dinner based on tender and tasty meat...well-made cocktails. Entertainment with a live band that was too fun and engaging...and top DJs. All excellent value for money!...we had a good time and had a great time. We will be back!

25/04/2025: Proprietari gentilissimi. Aperitivo molto buono e abbondante. Siamo andati con il nostro cane che è stato accolto con calore.
13/04/2025: We discovered this place by chance and were really satisfied. For breakfast we sat in the very comfortable and well-kept room, the brioches were really very good and the choice is very varied: from the classic croissant to more particular things such as the cubic croissant. We'll be back!

23/05/2025: Truly the best restaurant in Como. Such a lovely experience from start to finish. First the Beautiful art on the walls. Service was exceptional. The food was exquisite. Best pasta we have had and the most wonderful fish. Don't waste time at Gato nerro, eat here for real food and experience, you will not be disappointed!! If this were not our last night in lake como, we would come back to eat tomorrow 😋
12/04/2025: The atmosphere was great… old house with a bit modern feel… The restaurant decor and design is beautiful. Very impressive. But stiff. The food was well cooked but a bit boring… and a bit overpriced (€40) for what we received… we ordered two different types of fish, they came with just fish filets, some chunks of potatoes, some olives with stones inside… The food was colorless. Tasted great. But you eat with your eyes first. Very little garnish and no color coordination on the plate. One really bad notice. The olives used on both courses had stones in them. That’s a big NO NO. The appetizer we ordered (Red Prawns) was fine but a bit overpriced as well (€40) for only a few prawns with asparagus…. There was a copero charge of €10 per person, most restaurants we have been to in Milan were about €3-5…. But that’s not the deal breaker because they offered us free bread and sparkling wine to start.. We planned to order and share two appetizers but we ended up ordering just one for the birthday boy.. Because they want to charge a minimum of 20% for any shared dishes.. we don’t even know what it means for“a minimum”… Would they charge 50% or 100% depending on what? We don’t know and we don’t want to know… We’ve traveled to different parts of the world and this was the first time we saw that… We always like to order 2-3 appetizers to share and taste different local cuisines… And at the end, we would also like to share a dessert…NOT EVERYBODY LIKES TO FINSIH ONE BIG DESSERT BY THEMSELVES… sweets are fat….sharing a dessert is enjoyable and very common.. Some pros of the restaurant cannot be denied: the staff were very friendly and polite… they greeted us, took our coats and saw us off at the end…
