Great Greek food, tasty, at bargain prices! We dropped in late evening and were immediately seated. The menu is full of Greek classics of which we tested the fetta Greek salad, moussaka, and pork gyro - all were EXCELLENT! Highly recommended. It is right outside Porta Rudiae and worth the short hike

Passato davanti per caso, leggo le recensioni e decido di provarlo. Locanda greca spartana, personale garbato, servizio veloce e puntuale, e poi il cibo, assolutamente meraviglioso. Per colpa della squisitezza ho ordinato senza ritegno e ho mangiato senza ritegno. Cucina greca doc, calasalinga e genuina, prodotti di grande qualità. E come dessert!? Un cibto che per l'ultima bettola casereccia ce lo sognamo. Bravi, se vivessi a lecce, tappa fissa una volta a settimana, ma dato che ci vengo sempre ci torno

11/09/2025: This was the best meal we had in all of Puglia. It is a hidden gem slightly outside of the tourist area. And it’s staffed by the warmest Italian owner and staff. Try the eggplant parmigiana, spaghetti with mussels, meatballs, and sausage!

The cuisine, traditional and authentic, is meticulously prepared and surprisingly delicious, with exquisite attention to detail. The zucchini flowers, in particular, are a true masterpiece of flavor. The atmosphere is truly Salento, which is reflected in both the dishes and the hospitality, making the experience authentic and unforgettable. One aspect worth highlighting is the great attention to gluten-free options: the organization is impeccable and conveys a sense of security, allowing you to enjoy every course with complete peace of mind. The service is equally special: the staff is friendly, attentive, and always available, effortlessly combining professionalism and friendliness. A place that combines traditional cuisine, customer service, and Salento warmth: highly recommended!

05/09/2025: Il Megalite farmhouse is located just outside the village of Giurdignano, 4 km from Otranto, an excellent location for exploring Salento, reaching the coast north and south of Otranto, and taking advantage of the services of nearby towns. The reception area, with its beautiful adjacent swimming pool, forms a sort of central piazza around which the rooms, each with its own veranda/sitting area, are arranged in a fan shape. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. From the rooms, a beautiful arched path shaded by vines leads to a large green area and the breakfast/dining room. Here, you can dine comfortably indoors or outdoors, as Il Megalite also serves as a restaurant. Il Megalite farmhouse is a haven of peace where you are welcomed with the utmost kindness and courtesy, from the reception staff to the dining room staff and the ladies who take care of the rooms. Kudos to each and every one of them. We had a problem with a specific personal need, and the owner was incredibly kind and helpful, in an unexpected way. We thank him again, along with the receptionist who assisted us.
01/09/2025: We had dinner at this agriturismo. A charming location, tables surrounded by greenery, and a pleasant atmosphere. Traditional, homemade dishes. The staff was attentive and courteous. Fair prices.
