[RESPONSE to the ANSWER: My testimonial is NOT "constructed ad hoc" 🙂 and before writing it I waited months and months, precisely so as not to shoot blankly on a place I am fond of! Plus: what reason would I have to want to damage your business?! If there wasn't a bar there anymore, I wouldn't be able to find my memories! Plus, I'm not your competitor! I don't even know the managers outside the business! Why would I ever hate them?! I limit myself to evaluating their way of working: it is the customer's right; otherwise reviews wouldn't exist! I simply don't like highly frequented businesses, therefore already with an acceptable profit margin, taking advantage of customers! Of course, unless someone comes with hidden cameras, even those who complained about the rudeness are impossible to credit! Like your version though...But, I guarantee you, they don't pay me to waste 10 minutes writing a review...When you do it it's because, for better or for worse, a place is worth the effort of writing it. The employees bear little blame: at the register there is always the one who seems like the boss... and these days, they wouldn't be the only ones who, for the love of work and a salary, work with their heads down, ignoring some impropriety.
Know that I will never come to "clarify" in person, with someone who gives old receipts* to a customer who immediately goes back to ask for his, just after realizing he hasn't received it: just a few seconds to get to the door and go back to the cash register! Because it means that if it isn't there then it wasn't printed at all!

Every time I stop here, ALWAYS, always there is some problem with the RECEIPTS. They tend not to make them for you. If you ask, you end up with either the non-taxable one, or, worse, they pretend to have given it to you and forgot to give it to you, they fish it out from behind the counter and when you check it afterwards, you realize that it's a RECEIPT from hours earlier, from someone else 😅 (*yes, they seem to have been preserved ad hoc!!!)
When it suits you, well, well, they'll do it for you, but a coffee macchiato becomes 😉 latte macchiato... or a normal one becomes a deca (and away they go, tens of cents more that they pocket). ALWAYS: it doesn't happen once and for all, it's systematic and, although I only go there once every 2 or 3 months, here I have only listed cases that I have personally experienced and at least 2 times each! It is Mathematics that they cannot always be cases.
Good food, if not heavenly.
I continue to stop at this bar "only" for an emotional reason: when it was Moriani (good times, both for me and for the bar!), every time my parents and I went to Lucca, that was an obligatory stop. I can't do without it just for this reason...
But that's not correct. If the RECEIPT doesn't give you a bar with little turnout, I avoid giving it a bad review and I understand a little... but here you always find a lot of people... come on... but how much black is there? !

Friendly neighbourhood bar caffè pasticceria located on a street corner with parking on both sides out front. Tasty coffee and decent panini, plus, under a counter, a large selection of attractive and delicately made tarts, cakes and sweets.
