Good food for sure, but maybe it would be better to have one less first course and one more dessert!
The set menu is a good idea, appetizer, 3 first courses (too many), grilled meat and side dishes.
Unfortunately the dessert disappointed me a bit, just a small bowl of cream with some biscuits (good) and a kind of biscuit crepe (it tasted like nothing).
Anyway we ate a lot, and what we couldn't eat, the meat, we took home.
I will return, as long as there is one more dessert!!!!

This restaurant came highly recommended by a close friend and we decided to try although it was very far from were I live. The restaurant was almost empty and we had to yell to get some attention from the waiter. Like for instance they immediately gave us the iPad menu and just went their way not waiting or asking if we wanted anything to drink. The bruschetta was below standard as the seasoning was zero and the bread was mushy and dense (not like Italian bread at all). The arancini was good and my husband liked his bresaola with melon appetizer. My pasta was dry and not tasty (pumpkin ravioli) and my husband’s pizza was very good. We did not order deserts or coffee. Unlikely going back.

Typical restaurant on Montello. Traditional, home-made cuisine and skewer! The menu is fixed: mixed starters (cold cuts, meatballs, potatoes, beans with sauce, ricotta rolls); 3 first courses (homemade gnocchi and tagliatelle with ragù, and asparagus risotto), skewer and mixed side dishes. To close the desserts. House wine. Fixed price per person €40.
Rustic atmosphere and friendly, helpful and friendly staff.
On weekends it is absolutely necessary to book.

The place looks like a rustic house, the interiors are rustic, traditional but it is very well preserved and kept, I really appreciated the cloth napkins and the cleanliness of the place.
It is not possible to choose a menu as the restaurant imposes a fixed menu of courses of their choice, normally composed of different tastings of appetizers and three first courses, a second course which is usually a skewer of mixed meat, sometimes even a tasting of an ultra second course, in our case, the second course was a cotechino. All courses are generous tasting portions.
The pastas are made by gold and are really good, I really liked the large, rough pasta tagliatelle.
Desserts are not their strong point, good but not very good.
A small flaw about the staff, in our case several times they were in a hurry to take the dish away from the table, several times we asked to be able to finish calmly.
However a place that deserves
