The bar staff are very friendly which leaves a great first impression. The food is not only delicious, but also fairly priced, making it an ideal place for a relaxed breakfast. There is a huge selection of croissants, especially for early risers, so there is really something for every taste. Another highlight is the cappuccino – the best you’ve ever had! 😊 Whether for a quick start to the day or a leisurely breakfast with a cup of coffee, this bar is definitely a recommended choice.

Super cool. Servizio veloce. I don't have a drink from the ristorante, which is not the same as the scoop. Si mangia semper bene. Simpatici tutti. Torneremo. Fast service. Not a highlight of the star restaurant, but that is not the intention. Always good. Everyone is friendly and personable. We'd love to come back.

Fast and good are hardly in the same sentence but here you eat well and the service, in addition to being fast, is attentive and courteous. Fair prices, I prefer the tables on the bright veranda than in the room but it's just a detail. More than recommended place.

06/01/2025: What a great and luxorious hotel in the beautiful Dolomites. Truly had a wonderful holiday over Christmas and New Years. All the staff very kind and professional. Prices at the bar a bit overpriced and the sauna area is great, offering 5 saunas. Unfortunately lots of guests wearing swimming suit and bikini even though textile free sauna and taking pictures of themselves inside sauna. Made me feel uncomfortable. But again, hotel was perfect. Thank you! Will be coming back soon :)
09/12/2024: Sono stata all'Alpenroyal con il mio fidanzato per festeggiare il mio compleanno. Siamo stati piacevolmente colpiti dal calore dell'ambiente, semplice e minimal ma allo stesso tempo davvero accogliente. Non c'erano tantissime persone, e questo ci ha permesso di trascorrere una serata davvero tranquilla. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione "Tradizione in evoluzione" che abbiamo trovato squisito: sapori delicati ma ben riconoscibili, con un ottimo utilizzo delle materie prime. Ci siamo interfacciati principalmente con Leonardo, gentilissimo e disponibile, che ha fatto davvero un ottimo lavoro: molto chiaro nella spiegazione dei piatti, educato e sempre sorridente.

10/11/2024: The garden terrace with a view of Lake Kaltern and the Leuchtenburg is great, but it is also very busy. Varied and large selection on the menu. Nice service.
22/09/2024: Wir sind mittlerweile das 7. mal über einen Zeitraum von ca. 15 Jahren im Seegarten. 2021 waren wir das letzte Mal vor Ort. Dieses Jahr konnte man feststellen, dass die Qualität etwas nachgelassen hat. Es wird vermutlich daran liegen, dass der ehemalige Chefkoch (ein Südtiroler) in Pension gegangen und gleichzeitig der 2. Koch dir Küche des Seegartens verlassen hat. Es schmeckt nicht mehr wie früher. Der letzte Pfiff und die Raffinesse der Südtiroler mit der mediterranen Küche fehlt. Die Gewürze fehlen, daher schmecken die Saucen etwas fad. Hoffentlich ist das nur von kurzer Dauer und die Küche kann wieder an alte Zeiten anknüpfen. Das wäre wünschenswert!
