I want to be generous, but the food is excellent, few recipes are well made but the service is sloppy... it leaves a lot to be desired, but the place is nice outside, with games for children, inside a sad big room, the price is right, but THERE IS NO VIEW OF THE LAKE!!!! The photos are misleading...

A true gem in the heart of picturesque Altenburg. The service is very friendly and always has good recommendations. The pizzas are incredibly delicious and huge. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back! Ps: We recommend making a reservation in advance.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening – great food and atmosphere Our visit to Ristorante Pizzeria Altenburgerhof was a real highlight of our vacation in Kaltern. From the moment we arrived, the cozy atmosphere was impressive – warm, inviting, and with a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. Especially for families: There's a playground right next door, which made the evening much more relaxing for us. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, without being intrusive – we simply felt welcome. The food was also a hit: the dumpling trio was homemade, perfectly cooked, and very well seasoned. The pizza was also excellent – ​​crispy base, perfectly seasoned, and fresh ingredients. You can tell that the cooking here is done with love. A place we'd love to return to – highly recommended!

We went there to eat pizza, it was delicious, the service was friendly and the beautiful terrace with garden restaurant was lovely, and around the corner past the church you have a wonderful view of Lake Kaltern, you should go there, not two minutes from the pizzeria.
