Spent New Years Eve at the restaurant. Antoine, our server was amazing and made all our wishes come true. The pizza was delicious. Don't forget to order the Knoblauchsauce (garlic sauce).

Comfortable environment, delicious food cooked like it used to be. Kindness of the staff. A place frequented by locals who play cards. Like returning to the past!!!! Congratulations indeed!

Nice restaurant, very friendly service. Unfortunately, pizza only starts at 6 p.m., so we ate bacon dumpling soup and dessert for lunch. Soup not very seasoned, but various spices were offered. Apple dumplings with vanilla sauce are also highly recommended.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The pizza is outstanding. I'm not really a pizza fan, but I would eat pizza here any time. The spacious outdoor area invites you to linger. Totally recommended!

Wir waren auch dieses Jahr wieder 2x dort. Sehr aufmerksamer Service und immer ein freundliches Wort von Anton. Beste Pizza (Holzfäller) in Kaltern. Sehr viele Einheimische. Wir kommen wieder!

26/01/2025: First time there as a local and excited about everything!!! a small but super nice menu as well as daily specials. Great wine selection at fair prices! Absolute insider tip in the south of South Tyrol. Reservation recommended because the restaurant is small.

14/02/2025: Fantastic hotel with an excellent restaurant which specializes in meat but other dishes are also highly recommended. Loved the service attitude of the staff, the amazing wine list and the cosy restaurant. Will be back for sure!
12/02/2025: I know the restaurant well. Quality food, everything excellent BUT... when I asked for the list of desserts, they were promptly listed verbally. I'm sorry but that's not very correct considering that the prices are very high. I still took it but I regretted it... not because of the goodness but because it wasn't worth the price. Absurd... We should improve on this. The prepared and very friendly waiter made up for it!
