A wonderful spot under vine arbors and walnut trees. Very friendly and prompt service. Everything was perfect, and we were completely satisfied! Prices were very reasonable.

Very friendly and attentive service, exceptionally great and always delicious pizzas; the plum dumplings are divine and regionally renowned. Wiener schnitzel is once again made from pork (previously turkey). The view is, of course, a dream. We love it here.

By far the best pizza I've ever eaten. A homemade pizza with great toppings, lovingly prepared, and a great taste. You can watch the pizza 🍕 being made live; the pizza oven is wood-fired. Great 👌😊 Please note: Pizza 🍕 is only available from 6 p.m. Other dishes and homemade specials are available for lunch. The best for last: plum dumplings with melted butter and breadcrumbs. After hiking through the Rastenbach Gorge, we relaxed in the cozy beer garden and enjoyed cold drinks. We wanted to take a taxi back to the lake. After the manager of several taxi companies didn't respond, she drove us back in her own car. Thank you again for that. This service... outstanding, top-notch service. We will recommend the Altenburger Hof to everyone and will "honor" it again at the next opportunity.

We got there after finishing a lovely trail in a gorge. It had just started raining and we ordered tomato soup which was excellent and also a vegan dish like a cube with beets, spinach and... it was tasty but heavy. We couldn't finish and eat after that until the evening.

Sport's Arena

03/12/2025: A typical sports bar that's always buzzing. When sports are on, there's plenty to watch. They might be showing different games, so there's something for everyone. You can also play darts (6 soft-tip/4 steel-tip), there are about 5 or 6 pool tables, and a foosball table. There are also tables scattered around where you can just relax with a drink, and a selection of burgers, pizzas, wraps, and other beverages. The staff is very friendly, and they can always give you change for the games. We always enjoy coming here. It's great that places like this exist! ☺️
