Alpago In Conegliano

Came here as we needed refreshment and food. Probably the best Brioche con crema both of us have ever eaten. Outstanding.

A first communion cake was ordered one way and delivered a completely different one. The phone order could be improved; it was placed rather hastily, and that's certainly the reason for the error. The initial call was to discuss flavors, but the final decision was made via WhatsApp. The last confirmation message was "let's make a mille-feuille with cream and chocolate cream." They claim they had another message with an order for "sponge cake with chocolate cream and cream," and in the end, the cake they delivered was a sponge cake with cream and pastry cream (light cream) without a trace of chocolate cream. It looked beautiful and was certainly delicious, but unfortunately, not the one the birthday boy or girl chose. They didn't even offer the slightest regret or apology for what happened.

Pasticceria Alpago is a historic landmark in Conegliano, beautifully located under the arcades of the city center. It's a welcoming and well-kept place where you can stop for a relaxing break, whether for breakfast or a snack. The selection of desserts and pastries is extensive and of excellent quality, with products always fresh and beautifully presented. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere retains a timeless charm that makes for a truly pleasant stop. I highly recommend visiting if you're in town.

This cream brioche is among the best I've ever eaten!

Pastries are good. The only issue I’ve encountered is that there is too much powdered sugar on the croissant. My pants from black turned almost white.
