Allosteria Trattoria Pizzeria In Lecce

We went to this lovely trattoria last Saturday and had a wonderful meal! Typical Salento cuisine with carefully prepared dishes. The homemade pasta is exceptional, as are the meat and vegetables. The service is friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

I stopped by chance (in Puglia, the food is excellent, even by chance, ed.). It was empty, but only because not everyone stops in Lecce for lunch on a Monday. I ate very well, the grilled fish was excellent and very well cooked, with a mixed salad.

Excellent food. The price, quality, and quantity were exceptional. The place is very well-maintained, despite being a trattoria. The staff were friendly. We went in the dark, and it was a wonderful surprise. We'll be back.

A surreal place, it feels like you've gone back in time, truly a leap into the past. I had a great time, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the owner was very present and thoughtful. I highly recommend it.

Top-notch food, far too long waits We chose this place because most restaurants were closed at the time we were there (2:00 p.m.), but that's common in Italy; we know our way around. Anyway, we were seated without a reservation after about 10 minutes. The ambiance is great: beautiful decor, comfortable seating, and relaxing music. Our order was taken relatively quickly. To shorten the wait for the food, we received a small appetizer (bread and mozzarella with ham) about 30 minutes after being seated. After another 20 minutes, we received a basket with bread and tarallucci. We waited about an hour for the main course. The waiter barely spoke Italian and asked several times while taking our order. When our food arrived, two plates were brought out incorrectly. This was ultimately the kitchen's fault. To avoid another 10-15 minutes of waiting, we accepted the plates so we could eat together. The restaurant employs two waiters and the owner; we don't know how many worked in the kitchen. Our neighbor's table left their plates lying around without touching them. We heard they had also been waiting a long time and were given the wrong plates. Another neighboring table argued with the owner about what it was, I have no idea. The quality of the food was impeccable, but you should be prepared to wait a bit if you want to eat here. The restaurant and the owner were very accommodating to us. We still had to wait :D

We had dinner this evening. I must say I'd read the reviews and wasn't entirely convinced. I was actually quite impressed. The food was good and the service was efficient, especially the waiter! My only suggestion would be that the owner shouldn't scold the staff in front of customers. Kudos to waiter Ale (I don't know his full name) for his efficient work.

If you're looking for delicious pasta, look no further! We ate on the enclosed, air-conditioned terrace. The menu is very diverse, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The young waitress made the effort to speak English; she was very helpful and friendly. The best part was the tiramisu, made fresh in front of us, which was a very pleasant surprise. We 100% recommend it.
