Very welcoming and kind staff. Very good food. We took a medium platter of local cured meats and cheeses and a trio of ravioli/tortelli. The chef came to the table to explain the dishes and recommend the tasting. We were very satisfied. Unforgettable experience. Reservation is recommended.

Di passaggio per un pranzo, ho trovato il locale dalle recensioni di Tripadvisor. Locale piccolino (meglio prenotare) ma accogliente con il soffitto a botte di mattoni. Accoglienza cordiale (che bello vedere persone che sorridono!) e servizio celere. Menu tradizionale è davvero buono. Abbiamo preso un tagliere, le lasagnette e maccheroncini allo stracotto e un bicchiere di Lambrusco. Buona qualità prezzo. E’ in centro e se avrò occasione tornerò sicuramente

We felt welcomed. Kindness is at home here. The menu is short but refined and suitable for all tastes (also the chef was very kind in adapting the dishes according to our needs and intolerances). The place is small but fascinating with the stone vault above it. Highly recommended. We booked the night before and it was enough. But there are few places so I recommend not waiting. The price is very honest: good

At the buca della Gabbia Mantova, a typical place where you can taste specialties from the Mantua area, such as tortelli in various flavors and cold cuts. The restaurant is located under the imposing cage tower and has many tables but with little space between them, in the Overall we ate well and the service from the owners and staff was good. The quality of the wines was on average good, I expected something more being a wine shop!

The place is very nice and welcoming, the staff is very kind and attentive to customers' needs. At the table we ate a platter of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by Mantuan mustard, then an encore of tortelli and a lasagna. Everything was excellent, I recommend the tortelli from Castel Goffredo which were superlative. The desserts are simple, well made and a worthy end to the meal. The place is small and has few seats, it is advisable to book in advance.

Raramente dò le 5 stelle, ma queste sono strameritate.
Location molto bella, servizio impeccabile, cibo buonissimo e perfettamente presentato: tris di tortelli, stracotto di asino, tris di dolci. Vasta scelta di vini, tra cui un lambrusco mantovano buonissimo. Guardate le foto!
