We went for afternoon tea and ordered a charcuterie and cheese board with some beers. We were pleasantly surprised: everything was delicious and high quality. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back next time. The friendly service and the family-run feel were also noteworthy.

The best paninis we've had in our month in Italy, and we've eaten sandwiches most days. They even went off menu for an incredible vegetarian panini. We highly highly recommend!

Trattoria Da Alfredo

12/04/2026: An unexpected and pleasant discovery just outside Naples. Sunday lunch just like at Grandma's house: traditional cuisine with a modern twist. Intrigued, we tried the Neapolitan bao: one with sausage and broccoli rabe, the other with eggplant parmigiana. Highly recommended! Pasta, potatoes, and provola lived up to our expectations. The manfredi with ricotta were delicious. Convenient parking at the entrance. The sign is barely visible, which risks betraying the beauty and authenticity of the place. Friendly and welcoming staff.
09/04/2026: I had a business lunch at this trattoria, which I later learned is historic, and is decorated with a myriad of "befane" (traditional Neapolitan figurines). A diverse selection of dishes; I tried the cod on a bed of delicious chickpea cream. Side dishes are available for self-service. Excellent flavors typical of Neapolitan cuisine; I'll be back to try other dishes!
