Sin. The idea and format of the venue are winning. Too bad about the food because the fried baby octopus was full of sand. Inedible.

For a couple of years now it has been one of the unmissable destinations when we pass through Ostia, whether to get takeaway food to eat on the beach or to have lunch/dinner/aperitif. Excellent value for money and varied and interesting proposals alongside the more traditional offers. We recommend the gourmet fish sandwiches which vary according to seasonality and obviously the fried fish is highly recommended, available in different formats. The accompanying white wines are also very good. The only downside is that, especially in summer, there is always a long queue during meal times.

I wanted some fried fish to eat informally and by doing a simple search on the internet I came across this which was truly a very pleasant discovery! The frying was really appreciated and really very, very good, which is not so obvious even considering being in a seaside place! The only complaint was about the chips, which arrived too cold and therefore too "dry". But my desire to leave was certainly satisfied in the best way and I can only recommend it! Definitely worth trying again!!

A really cute little place! We ate excellent fried food and tasted 4 types of fish (2 portions). Very kind and right portions. The only flaw was that the potatoes, always fried, were cold and in fried foods the cold is harmful. But the fish was delicious!

Excellent fry shop.. fresh products, excellent frying... Excellent sandwiches... Excellent cost (I hope they don't raise the prices)... very friendly staff.. as I pass through Ostia it has become a regular stop.. highly recommended

Doppio zero ristorante pizzeria

15/01/2025: Cozy atmosphere, delicious pizza and trained and efficient staff. I often get it to take away due to my time constraints with quick deliveries!! Highly recommended!
05/01/2025: The place is very nice. The staff is professional, but I would like to give some advice to those who take care of the reservations. Now let me explain. We and friends had decided to book at a pizzeria in Castel Nuovo di Porto called il Frantoio in via Garibaldi. We make the table reservation by telephone. We arrive on site, given that we were coming from Rome, and the place is closed. We contact the telephone number previously made for the reservation again and they tell us that the street is another. So after walking for a while following the navigator and looking for the famous Frantoio. We kindly ask a lady who accompanies us and we discover that the pizzeria where we were diverted is another "Double Zero". Now I don't understand why if I want to go to one place I have to be sent to another, but above all perhaps communicate it at the time of booking... right? I repeat, for those coming from outside it is a bit complicated. It would be enough to be clearer when the customer calls to book a table. However, in the end everything went well. I don't know how to eat at Frantoio, but at Dopio zero the pizza is good 😄
