It's incredible that there isn't a friggitoria on every street in Ostia! It's such a simple yet perfect place that I'm surprised I have to seek it out. Run by a team of hard-working young people, it has ample seating and offers takeout and delivery. They offer a wide selection of tasty sandwiches (including limited-time specials) featuring fish, fried foods, and seafood appetizers, always street food... but I go for the fried seafood, especially baby octopus and calamari (but there are other options as well). It's delicious, and best paired with one of their special mayonnaises (I choose the one with bottarga, which fills your mouth and heart, but there are plenty). Recommended for a moment of authentic seafood flavor!
