We asked a random pedestrian on the street where we could get a good meal, and he replied: the restaurant with the little yellow tent. He was right. We had an excellent meal. The homemade tortelli were heavenly, the vegetables were delicious, and the fish was superb. I would have been even more impressed, though, if the bread on the table was artisanal. Thanks for the delicious food and the lovely conversations!

A beautiful and well-kept venue, the kind and professional staff pampered us all evening. The dishes include both meat and fish. We chose fish for this occasion and found everything delicious and beautifully presented. We'll definitely be back.

I only photographed the appetizer... Then the dishes disappeared too quickly for photos! A truly refined and never banal cuisine. Delicious dishes served with care and attention. Plus of the evening the cocktail was perfect and paired with my first course. Truly a wonderful dinner! I hope that the cocktail pairing expands to different dishes, because it is something quite new (for the area) and really very "fun". Compliments to the staff and kitchen.

A wonderful surprise in the heart of Rovigo! We stopped by today at midday after having booked, intrigued by everything, both the menu and the reviews. Well, we did well to have lunch. There were 3 of us and we tried the raw fish, the tagliatelle with octopus ragout and the carbonara ravioli, the veal in cbt and another pork appetizer. Everything perfect. The service, the explanation of the dishes, the presentation and the flavors of every single dish! We also treated ourselves to an excellent dessert, trying three different types. Exceptional experience with excellent value for money. Congratulations to all the staff!

Siamo in 9, pranzo veloce. Il gestore è gentile e competente, mi confonde un pò con descrizioni dettagliate dei piatti. Piatto del giorno risotto, gamberetti, crema di zafferano. Ben cotto, gusti bilanciati. Tutti sono rimasti soddisfatti, anche chi, per vari problemi di alimentazione, ha trovato una buona soluzione. Da ritornarci con più calma.

06/08/2025: Really delicious dishes, but the mixed grill wasn't filling (a second potato would definitely have been possible). The waiter was friendly and quick, but the waitress unfortunately had no desire to speak Italian (like talking to guests who don't speak Italian?). The bill was €61. We would have paid €65, but were pretty much ignored when we declined dessert. We waited forever for the bill, then waited another 15 minutes for our money to be collected (there were only about 20 guests in the room for two waiters), so we left €62 and left. Conclusion: Really delicious, but also expensive; you have to be lucky with the service. Edith: We're currently in Venice (the island), where a whole meal with starter and main course costs as much as a single plate of pasta at Renata's. Venice!! Cheeky!
04/08/2025: I was expecting a I was expecting a modest place with little choice, but instead I entered a very welcoming place with a vast selection of delicacies. A paradise for seafood lovers. The service was extremely efficient, kind, and fast. Highly recommended 👍 Well done!

Ristorante Pizzeria Hotel Cappello

24/07/2025: Having discovered this restaurant last year, I stand by my previous review. Last night, the mussels in a stew and tuna steak were very good, as were other dishes ordered by other diners. We'll definitely be back before the end of the season.
21/07/2025: Very nice place, really delicious pizzas, attentive and knowledgeable staff.
