You will have a great experience, concerning the informality of the staff. Litle bit crazy familly restaurant, but very nice.

In my opinion...a must-see, along with the Duomo, Palazzo Pitti, etc., etc. A gastronomic monument in Florence is Alfredo's restaurant. Top-notch food, a well-kept, clean, and comfortable venue, not to mention the entire staff...from the waiters, especially Camilla, who is cheerful and witty yet professional! Lucia, a wonderful hostess, and her son, who completes a stunning setting. 10+ 😘

Tried for dinner: courteous and attentive service, good and plentiful dishes, and quality ingredients. Both the first and second courses were good. Decent value.

Alfredo is a friendly and helpful host, and the food at his restaurant is truly delicious. We started with excellent Tuscan prosciutto accompanied by the freshest burrata. The pici with wild boar ragù was mouth-watering, but the highlight was the Florentine ossobuco, a divine dish that, in itself, was worth the trip to his restaurant. To finish, a homemade zuppa inglese. A light white wine by the glass, which cheered both the dishes and the minds. The price was fair. If I ever return to Florence, I'll definitely be back. Bravo, Alfredo.

Quiet place, good food, super friendly owner.

I visited Ristorante Alfredo on Viale Don Minzoni, a family-run restaurant that offers an unpretentious experience, but it does have some gastronomic issues to consider. Run by Lucia, her husband, Chef Mario (40 years of experience), and their son, Filippo (sommelier), they are the essence of the restaurant. Ambience and Setting: The management is very friendly, but the interior layout is compromised by tables that are too close together. If you're looking for privacy, this isn't the ideal location. The decor is rustic, geared toward attracting tourists. We tried the Coccoli. This touches a raw nerve: they serve them with stracciatella, a variation that has become popular in recent years and that I personally don't appreciate. I think it's more suited to tourist tastes than to the Florentine tradition, where stracchino reigns supreme. Furthermore, the coccoli themselves could have been cooked a little more. Excellent note, however, for the prosciutto crudo: nice slices and appreciable quality. As mentioned, the first course portions are very generous. We tried the "carretera" (which is available here for €12), which was well-seasoned, but the sauce lacked consistency: it tended to slide off the pasta, a small flaw that compromised its creaminess. My experience with the meat wasn't as good as I've read in other reviews. The sirloin steak was a bit tough, perhaps suggesting a lack of attention on the part of the supplier. Furthermore, the cooking had left the outside too burnt and bitter. Conclusions and Recommendations: Alfredo is a good choice for tourists, groups of friends, or a lunch break with generous portions in a casual setting at lower prices than those in the city center. I don't recommend it for those looking for an intimate atmosphere. 3 stars is a good compromise for me; there's a lot of room for improvement. I'd return for a hearty first course.

La comida es realmente fantástica, con cada plato preparado a la perfección. El flan de verduras y los ravioles fueron absolutamente destacados: deliciosos, bellamente presentados y llenos de sabor. ¡Recomiendo encarecidamente cenar aquí para disfrutar de una comida memorable y una cálida hospitalidad!

Ristorante tipico nell’arredamento, impostato più come trattoria, qualità nella media non male ma nulla di particolarmente ricercato o di particolarmente buono, a pranzo il prezzo è corretto. Non eccelle ma ci tornerei se fossi in zona.
