We went last night on the occasion of the beginning of the journey of Saint Francis. Very nice place and friendly environment. Mr. Alessandro and the waiter Federico were very helpful and professional. They recommended excellent and delicious dishes. I highly recommend this venue.

I have to thank Alessandro for how he "welcomed" me not only in his restaurant but also as a person. I was cold at the end of my stage of the Camino di S.F. of Paola, tired and with a little lower morale. Alessandro, with his kindness and his cuisine, was able to quickly bring me back to a good mood. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and remarkable cuisine. Thank you Claudia

A unique experience that I recommend to everyone. Excellent food, prepared with care and with excellent raw materials. The welcome of the owners, their kindness and their stories were the setting for our May 1st visit to the Sanctuary of S. Francesco.

We stayed with friends and family at the "square" and I must say that it was an authentic culinary battle....because after the pork-based dishes...another lunch practically began...with starter, first course, second course and side dish... .what can I say truly exceptional!! Nice staff and owner...fast and prepared!! Truly a beautiful discovery/experience!!!

This pizza restaurant was recommended to me by another pilgrim who passed there before me and I must say that it was an excellent choice, Alessandro and his staff are fantastic... Hospitable, kind, welcoming and helpful 🔝 I found myself along the path of San Francesco di Paola ☀️ and I felt really good from them, in addition to the beautiful and positive words of good wishes and a good journey from the owner Alexander the Great. For a small town like Paterno Calabro it is a beautiful reality and activity... 💯 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

09/08/2024: Tasty dishes prepared with care and excellent taste, fish and other very fresh ingredients. Not exceptional wine but good, in relation to the price. Attentive service on a beautiful terrace in San Nicola.

25/08/2024: Andando in giro per il centro storico siamo entrati in un negozio di souvenir molto particolare con oggetti tutti lavorati a mano. Tra le varie informazioni ci ha detto di non perdere l’esperienza gastronomica di questo eccellente locale. Aveva proprio ragione! Cibi a chilometro zero cucinati in modo superbo, locale elegante e curato, perfino piatti personalizzati, servizio accurato seguito dagli stessi proprietari, vino eccellente prodotto da loro. Ho saccheggiato la loro bottega! C’è anche l’hotel con una bella piscina perciò torneremo per un soggiorno. E’ stato il luogo più bello della mia settimana calabrese alla ricerca di luoghi storici
19/08/2024: We found ourselves by chance near Altomonte due to a road emergency. Beautiful structure. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would like to truly thank all the staff with whom we interacted. In particular I would like to say hello and wish the best to the gentleman who came to pick us up with the shuttle, a great person. Surely if we find ourselves in the area we will stop by even just for lunch or dinner at the starred restaurant.
