This would have been a 5 star review but before we sat down I asked if there was a service charge and we were told no. But at the end when paying we were charged a service charge of 2 euros per head. We had the Strega and the Estate pizzas, and a lovely wine. Really good value without the service charge.

Beyond exceptional treatment from the waiter, who was super friendly and informative about the menu. Pizzas were outstanding (they actually have numerous awards). Very affordable price: 85€ for a family of 4. 3 pizzas, 3 starters, drinks, 2 desserts. I hope we can come again before we leave. If you happen to stay near Montelupo, without a doubt you should go here.

Without a doubt, the best pizza you can eat in Montelupo. Excellent ingredients, as well as the dough and desserts. I remember a few years ago they made a turmeric dough that was out of this world, too bad they don't make it now :(. The place is small and cozy, overlooking a very busy road so it can be noisy at certain times. There is plenty of parking nearby. The service is quite fast and the prices are super fair. Since it is a small place, it can be crowded, or with a lot of takeout orders, and you may have to wait a bit. But it is absolutely worth it. I recommend the "Cacio e Pepe" pizza.
