02/10/2025: This wine bar doesn't offer the service it deserves. The wines are good and reasonably priced for the quality (not overall), but they're served with chips. For a wine bar beneath the basilica and for the prices, you could expect focaccia or something else, as is the case at other similar places in the province. Service is poor and subpar (the waiter takes glasses by the rim, not the stem). The bathroom is filthy.
04/09/2025: I visited this place before a concert, but we had to leave before our order arrived, as we didn't have time to wait. Riccardo, a guy who works there, stopped us just outside as we were leaving, apologizing profusely, even though we had already paid the bill. He asked if he could refund the difference or come back after the concert to buy us something to drink. At this point, we were already pleasantly surprised; not everyone would approach a customer with such a polite apology, and in any case, we could have mentioned our time before ordering. For this attitude alone, I would have given the place 5 stars, but now, if possible, I'd give it even more! In fact, on our way back from the concert, Riccardo noticed us walking past and came over with doggy bags containing our previous order! We stopped and they reheated our sandwiches, and we were still very appreciative of the treatment. Truly a great attitude. Well done Riccardo, thanks again! Just to add: the sandwiches were very good. I had the hummus one with gluten-free focaccia (it's not a given to find a place with gluten-free bread). Well done, I'll definitely recommend the place!
