We were there for lunch with friends. The location is superb: a lovely garden near the lake with vines and a stunning view. The food was very good: shout out to the risotto. The service was perfect: kind and attentive. The price was high but not overpriced.

Great view, but overpriced and unfriendly service The restaurant's location is truly stunning – the view over Lake Maggiore is impressive and makes the visit special. The food was good, but the prices are significantly too high for what's on offer. The coperto and desserts, in particular, are exorbitantly expensive. Unfortunately, the service wasn't up to the standard you'd expect at these prices: One server became very unfriendly when we simply asked for the restroom. Overall, a nice place for the view, but not an overall pleasant experience.

We did not stay here, we just stopped by for lunch whilst visiting the island briefly. Absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, with excellent service and quite nice food. Don’t let the fancier menu and higher price tags scare you away from this place - it’s more than worth it when every other restaurant is overcrowded and noisy! We enjoyed our meal here.

One of the best restaurants of my life! ❤️ And so a huge favorite for my wife and I on our 10th anniversary! First of all, needless to say, the location is incredible. We dined on the terrace right across from Isola Bella. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the dishes are refined, worthy of a 5-star restaurant. I've never eaten such creamy and tender meat. The prices are a bit high, of course, but they reflect the high-end establishment.

Sleeping in the middle of Lake Maggiore, and especially on the most "authentic" of the islands, Fisherman's Island, is definitely worth the trip. This hotel is full of charm, very well-maintained, the rooms are beautiful and all overlook the lake. The gourmet restaurant, enjoyed in the evening by the water, when the island is empty of visitors, is an unforgettable experience. The only downside: the digital wine list, with only two copies for the entire restaurant, causes a wait unworthy of the establishment. It's all the more unfortunate given the very attractive contents of the wine cellar.

Hands down the best place to eat on the island due to the panoramic views.

Good food. Several set menus to choose from or a la carte. We only had one main course each and a vitello tonato to share. Everything was really good.
