The restaurant has a charming outdoor courtyard overlooking the lake while the interiors are elegant and refined. The cuisine is well-presented, with pleasant and well-executed dishes. The plin and the guancia are excellent. Overall, a satisfying gastronomic experience, even if without particularly outstanding elements. Professional service. Medium-high prices.

We had lunch here after 1 year. It was out 4th or 5th time, but I have to share a negative update this time. The service got significantly worse: we got a mediocre welcome, after ordering they rushed all the dishes out, the starter got to us while my wife was washing her hands and it was cold before she came back. Our main was also left there 4-5 min before a server could bring it to us, arriving cold. We were also told that picking individual dishes from the menu would mean getting a larger sized version, but comparing with our pictures from last year they weren’t at all, it was basically like getting a tiny bite from the menu for a massive overprice. They served our meal in 30 min like they do at a Chinese all you can eat, but the price was still close to a Michelin starred place. Honestly when I came in the last I had an amazing experience and the food is still good, but for this price the service can’t be left to juniors that are still learning the craft and who probably used to work at McDonalds before. That leaves the guests a poor taste, as after spending 200€ for a couple of tiny dishes you wonder if you were not better served by one of the cheaper options next door.

I review the hotel and restaurant together, because they are part of a single experience. The correct rating would be 4.5, as an average between the full 5 of the restaurant and the 4 of the hotel. I'll start with the hotel: the location is magical, right on Isola dei Pescatori, with a lake view that alone is worth the stay. The rooms are elegant, in classic style, with that slightly retro touch that, in such a romantic context, works perfectly. The atmosphere is quiet, intimate, almost out of time. The only flaw: the bathroom, clearly dated and in need of renovation. In a structure like this you expect something more. The breakfast, on the other hand, is among the best of my life. Very high quality, wide choice and rare attention to detail. The staff has always been kind and helpful, even if I would have expected a slightly more personal welcome, given the level of the structure. Moving on to the restaurant: dinner based on lake fish, prepared with great technique and attention. The dishes are inspired by tradition but with a modern interpretation, well thought out and never forced. Everything is very good, consistent with the environment and with the idea of ​​cuisine that you would expect in such a place. High prices, yes, but justified by the overall experience, which between the view, atmosphere and quality, remains absolutely memorable. I would gladly go back.

A super nice, quiet place with great staff. A very nice room (unfortunately, with lots of insects) and a very fine, slightly overpriced restaurant (which sets the table early for the next day and apparently wants guests out by 9:30 p.m. at the latest).

Unfortunately, we only stayed at this hotel for one night, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the ferry ride was a bit of an adventure for us landlubbers. Then, about 300 meters from the pier to the hotel (best to only carry light luggage). There, we received a very friendly welcome and were given a romantic room on the second floor with a balcony and a great view. A new, large bathroom with toiletries was also provided. The island is very small and cute, and we explored it quickly. We had an excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant that evening. We will be back ❤️

An excellent meal in every way, with a magnificent view of Lake Maggiore. I have wonderful memories of it and a wonderful experience. One of the best meals of my life, and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you again for your welcome and your kindness regarding your restaurant.

A real favorite! This restaurant located on the waterfront offers an idyllic setting, between calm and natural beauty. From the moment you arrive, you are charmed by the peaceful atmosphere and the breathtaking view. The dishes are of remarkable finesse: each plate is a perfect balance between taste, creativity and elegance. The flavors are subtle, the products very fresh, and the presentation worthy of a great chef. The staff, for their part, are up to the task: attentive, smiling and always offering good advice. An address that I recommend with my eyes closed for an unforgettable gastronomic experience in a sumptuous setting.

We only had dinner, taking the lake menu. Exceptional dishes, never tried such good trout.

Pranzo in un giorno di sole al lago con le amiche. Il ristorante è veramente molto molto bello. Il personale gentilissimo e preparato ma i prezzi sono decisamente troppo alti per la quantità offerta. Sicuramente è da provare ma non è un posto in cui tornerei spesso
