An amazing hotel on an island in the middle of the magical Lake Maggiore. We arrived late in the evening and the owner sent us a boat at his expense to take us to the hotel. A unique experience. Crazy panoramic view from the rooms.

We ventured here for lunch one afternoon after seeing Isola Bella. This place was top notch. It's definitely not cheap but the quality and presentation of the food is worth it, and if you sit on the balcony you literally feel like you are in a dream. Lots of locals were eating here as well. I liked that the food was all regional- we had smoked trout in a goat cheese sauce, a ravioli and beef cheek. Dessert was also amazing.

Regarding the hotel: magical and romantic place. The location is perfect. The rooms, however, are poorly soundproofed, the decoration is in harmony with the place but lacks quality. The whole, rooms and bathroom are not up to par with the place.
In addition, we were very well received in the evening by a lady. But on the other hand, the next day, we barely got a hello from the two ladies at reception... too bad.
To end with our favorite! The restaurant is incredible. The dishes are delicious, elaborate and sophisticated.
The restaurant is worth the trip.

Cibo ottimo. Prezzo molto elevato. Ambiente buono ma un ristorante di questo livello senza le tovaglie a mio parere non è sostenibile. Considerando anche il prezzo pagato, non posso pensare di cenare su tavoli in ferro come al bar. Ha perso molto in charme.

Ottimo ristorante per passare una domenica primaverile sulle isole Borromee del lago maggiore. La location è modera e suggestiva con uno spazio esterno completamente sul lago. Abbiamo deciso di mangiare alla carta (anche se propongono 3 tipi di menù degustazione) ordinando la loro trota salmonata e i plin con sugo di carne, oltre a fritto misto di lago con salsa fatta in casa e guancetta di maiale con puré. Infine ci siamo coccolati con il dolce del Verbano, una “torta” al limone e meringa.
Tutto molto buono, prezzi un po’ sopra la media.
Personale cordiale, servizio elegante.
