If you're looking for an authentic place where the flavors of tradition meet the authenticity of home cooking, this restaurant is a must-visit. The dishes speak for themselves. Specifically, the homemade fusilli with tomato sauce are a true masterpiece, with that perfect texture and a simple yet incredibly flavorful sauce, replete with the aromas of ripe tomatoes and time-honored recipes. The ravioli deserve a special mention: they're enormous, rich, and satisfying, filled with the freshest ricotta made with the milk of their own sheep, which lends an authentic and unmistakable flavor. One of those rarities not found everywhere. The service perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the restaurant: warm, attentive, and genuine. Special thanks to Lisa, always smiling and impeccably managing the dining room, capable of making every guest feel at home. And of course, kudos also to chefs Giuseppe and his mother, and Vittorio, who with their skill bring dishes that tell a story to the table. All this is accompanied by honest and competitive prices, which make the experience even more enjoyable. A restaurant that exudes authenticity, tradition, and passion. Highly recommended.

We work in the hospitality industry. At the end of the season, we usually leave Tuscany by car and change cities, hotels, and dining venues every day for about ten days. This evening, we ended up at La Frestola restaurant. We were truly impressed by the deliciousness of the dinner, the kindness and friendliness of the owner, and the restaurant. The restaurant has retained a pleasantly vintage feel from the 1980s, like the old places we used to go for Sunday afternoon lunch with the family. We had an appetizer with delicious cured meats and cheeses, a particularly tasty bruschetta, and two first courses that we shared: ricotta ravioli and pan-fried gnocchi, similar to gnocchi alla Sorrentina. The ravioli are handmade by the owner's mother. Being a cook, I researched the type of flour used, which I will definitely try in my work. So, in conclusion, I 100% recommend this restaurant; in fact, it would be a shame not to stop by if we're in the area. I'm very satisfied, and I send my warmest regards to the owner.

07/04/2026: We stopped here yesterday for dinner. A nice place, impeccable and friendly service, normal prices. But the pizza was really bad: salty tomato sauce, burnt crust, but raw pizza, a negative outcome. While looking at the first and second courses, they certainly looked delicious.

12/10/2025: Good selection of pizzas, reasonable prices, different from the Campania pizza rankings, light but very oily. Some were tasty, others not, depending on what you choose. Central location and friendly staff.
