We stopped at the Hotel Cacciatore for dinner, thanks to recommendations from locals. It's a magnificent place and the food is spectacular. My family and I are used to spending time in the mountains, and here my partner and I truly enjoyed traditional dishes... at truly reasonable prices! You'll need a car, but we were told there are also buses available for those who want to spend a day at high altitude. In any case, the view, the coolness of the forest, and the hospitality are totally worth it.

I stayed this weekend with a group of friends on the occasion of a football tournament. The location is reminiscent of the classic mountain huts immersed in the spectacular green landscape and silence, the rooms are comfortable and with spacious balconies overlooking the greenery, furnished in mountain house style. In 15 minutes you go down to the valley. We were welcomed in a kind, cordial, thoughtful and attentive way to any possible need and always available and very kind. Very good cuisine, the place also lends itself well to classic outdoor lunches in the beautiful garden in front of the hotel. If I found a small flaw I would recommend strengthening the internet connection and the mobile signal a little.

I came across the Al Cacciatore restaurant almost by chance, climbing towards the Lupa del Lagorai, but because of the fog and rain I decided to stop for lunch, a great choice! I ate fettuccine with venison ragù and homemade pasta: tender and tasty meat, a generous portion and a more than fair price (first courses between 10 and 14 euros). They also serve mushrooms picked by them. The lady who runs the place is very kind and friendly. A genuine and welcoming place, perfect for an authentic stop in the mountains.

Ci siamo stati dopo aver visto la Lupa di Vaia in occasione anche della gara automobilistica Levico Vetriolo. Posto bellissimo in stile Trentino abbiamo mangiato sotto la veranda. Dopo aver ordinato ci hanno omaggiato di un antipasto da dividere buonissimo ed è stato davvero un bel pensiero. La Signora che ci ha servito simpatica e gentile. Era tutto ottimo davvero....

Ristorante Pizzeria Riviera

10/09/2025: A remarkable restaurant. It's certainly very "touristy" and geared toward foreign customers, but that doesn't mean it's not also suitable for a discerning Italian clientele, and that's precisely what's surprising. The menu is worthy of a postal market catalog... there's truly everything, complete with realistic photos of the various dishes, including fish, meat, pizzas, and all sorts of specialties, as well as excellent desserts. We ate there two nights in a row and tried various dishes. Let's just say the food is good, even though there's no absolute specialty; you can try a bit of everything. The pizzas are good, although perhaps not as good as the more renowned pizza-only pizzerias. But this isn't a pizzeria, but a much larger and more comprehensive restaurant. Service is lightning-fast: even though it's crowded, the organization leaves no room for hesitation or mistakes. Prices are reasonable.
10/09/2025: Fair price, good food, and a beautiful view of Lake Caldonazzo.
