Very popular mountain hut because it is located near the cable car departure point but enjoys a pleasant view and good food. I had some very good cheese dumplings and the other person a classic Tyrolean platter with speck, cheese, gherkins and salami. We had lunch here after a walk around the area, the best meal of the weekend!! The dumplings are excellent and the strudel is amazing!!! Very fast service, one of the waiters even too fast in the sense that he steals the menu from your hands while you are ordering 😅🤣

We stayed in a nearby inn and came to the Frommeralm for dinner and a beer or wine. Hospitality is very important here and people and animals are welcome. The owners and the service are extremely friendly and warm. You just immediately feel comfortable in a relaxed atmosphere. The food was tasty, prepared with love and the portions were generous. The minestrone and the tiramisu are a poem. There are changing daily specials that are not on the menu. Everyone tries to please the guests. And even the dog was pampered. Schöne Aussicht, Bedienung ok, Essen - naja. Die Aussicht auf Latemar ist traumhaft, der Kaiserschmarrn war gut, dass es zur Gemischten Aufschnitt-Platte nur auf Nachfrage einige Brotreste gab enttäuschend.
