A very nice, cozy hotel with beautiful rooms and an amazing view. The hospitality here is hard to beat. As a welcome gift, you receive a small meal and a drink. You don't get that at many other hotels. What's more, you're shown around the hotel and even escorted to your room. That's outstanding service! Thank you! :)

Anche questa recensione è scritta in grande ritardo, come le altre fa parte di un viaggio in moto della scorsa estate dalla Carnia alle Alpi Francesi. La struttura è lungo una strada tortuosa e spettacolare, davvero amena e tranquilla, questo regala una vista meravigliosa al cliente, di ottimo non c'è solo la vista ma anche la cucina e la simpatia del personale e della proprietà, la figlia della signora Cecilia è anche la cuoca. La struttura è pulita ed accogliente, il parcheggio è di fronte all'albergo. Chi cerca tranquillità, silenzio, buona cucina e cortesia qui sarà pienamente soddisfatto! I dintorni offrono la possibilità di scoprire località poco conosciute ai più ma di sicuro interesse paesaggistico e storico mentre il Lago Maggiore è raggiungibile in poco tempo, con quel che ne consegue.

Stop for an aperitif, I was pleasantly surprised: metal straws are used. Nature thanks. It is really difficult to find businesses that use them. The Spritz is good. THANK YOU HOTEL CECILIA

In a group of 7 friends we stayed at Cecilia's. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. For dinner they always offered a varied menu, of local products, at a great price, with a fast and very warm service (the very friendly Roman waitress). Abundant buffet breakfast and always of excellent quality. Mrs. Paola very helpful. In general excellent stay, highly recommended!

22/07/2025: Generally friendly staff, rooms and bathrooms somewhat dated but clean, noise levels (very) high due to the close proximity to the supermarket and the street. The newly installed air conditioning in the rooms wasn't ideal. Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience with the room billing.

Casa Pizzini

20/07/2025: We spent a Sunday lunch time here and felt as if we were in paradise! Ivan - the most gracious host. We had not booked properly by accident but, despite being fully booked, he accommodated us. The service was impeccable - Ivan was attentive, knowledgeable and funny without being overbearing. The atmosphere was dreamy. Relaxing music on a beautiful veranda with spectacular views of Lake Maggiore. The food really was so delicious- we had three courses on the a la carte menu. Each dish seemed well balanced and imaginative but at the same time like comforting home cooked Italian food! Several/maybe all the dishes were created with local produce. The perfect blend of creativity and comfort. A very local dish in this part of Italy is ‘Vitello tonnato’ (veal with a tuna sauce). Being British - this is a strange combination to us and so I was a little apprehensive to try it but as they say - ‘when in Rome!’. It was so delicious and according to Ivan it really is made the ‘proper’ way at Villa Pizzini’. Suffice to say - top restaurant and made for the most magical afternoon. Can’t wait to return one day. Thank you Ivan!
06/07/2025: We were at Villa Pizzini today to celebrate the birthday of my other half, actually a third, with our little Sofia: a simply magical experience. The enchanting place, suspended between history and nature, welcomes you with an old-fashioned grace. Every detail - from the hospitality of the staff to the courtesy of the service - is taken care of with authentic passion. The menu is a true tribute to creativity and tradition: delicious dishes, harmonious in flavor and extraordinarily balanced. Each course surprises without ever overdoing it, and the birthday cake was a perfect, delicate and memorable ending. A special mention to the chef, a woman of rare talent, who deserves a Michelin star for the intelligence, sensitivity and elegance she manages to bring to the table. Villa Pizzini is not easy to reach, but like all precious things, once you have conquered it you keep it in your heart. We will return.
