Exceptional cod with polenta and exquisite service

Informal restaurant in the center of Spilimbergo, ideal for a quick lunch... yes, sometimes we complain about waiting too long at the restaurant, but this is not the case at Consul... as soon as we entered a kind waiter made us sit down, asking us again first to sit down, what we wanted to drink, then the owner arrived immediately and listed the dishes of the day, time to order and within two or three minutes the first courses arrived, exquisite lasagne and mushroom risotto a little too full of flavoring or glutamate, for the second course very good cod but accompanied by a very salty polenta. Price appropriate to the quality of the dishes.

We ate a trio of first courses with the difficulty of choosing which was the best... the girls were friendly... the omnipresent Simone also gave us a dessert to take away... top ten and praise... we will be back !!!!!!!

Cenato una sera di luglio, all’esterno e senza aver prenotato… Una splendida sorpresa. Trattoria con piatti tipici. Lasagne al montasio, pasta fresca al ragù, frico, maialino al sugo tartufato, patatine, vino e acqua, 20 euro a testa! E la qualità? Tutto ottimo… Lasagne strepitose, ragù buonissimo. Maialino morbido e cotto alla perfezione, e frico speciale. Più che soddisfatti. I piatti sono usciti immediatamente e il servizio è sempre stato cordiale. Consigliato! Peccato solo che alla domenica sia chiuso.

Informal lunch with excellent food, quality products, well cooked and served. Prompt service, smiling and friendly people. The two of us consumed 2 trios of first courses, a mixed salad, some stewed green beans, a coffee, a bottle of water. Bill €34.

Cenato con mio marito in questo ristorante dove ti senti come a casa. Buona scelta di pietanze cucinate con cura e ben servite. Gentilezza e pulizia non mancano. rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Buone le lasagne!
