The accommodation is located in a higher elevation of Santa Maria, offering a good view of the sea, yet the center was just a few minutes away. The room was simple and straightforward. Breakfast consisted only of croissants and pastries, with no cold cuts. However, there is a great supermarket, restaurants, and cafés nearby. Arrival and departure are accessible by taxi during the off-season, which the accommodation has arranged for.

We found the owners to be very helpful and welcoming. Recommended for all hikers, the atmosphere is clean, simple, and just steps from the sea.

A kind and friendly member of staff helped me get my car started, with great availability and courtesy. They were truly invaluable! We went there for dinner with friends we met on the Salento trail who were staying here. I must say we ate very well with the €25 pilgrim's menu: very generous first course, second course and side dish, fantastic owner!

Great restaurant and wonderful staff

It's a strategic location near the Leuca seafront. The staff is courteous and always available, as is the very friendly owner. Unfortunately, there's no parking, either guarded or unguarded, so you have to find a spot on the street by luck. The food is good, but I've left a separate review about that (thankfully). The breakfast is very poor; don't expect an international breakfast, or even an Italian breakfast with cakes and other treats. There are only Leccese pastries (thankfully), croissants, milk, and coffee from the machine. No coffee from the bar, although it's my fault I didn't ask for it, just as I asked for eggs to be cooked on the spot, which was unsuccessful. The rooms are a sore point. I understand it's a 2-star hotel, but sleeping on hard mattresses and pillows, not having a bidet in one room (I tried two; a double and a triple) is tough, and the noise from the air conditioning outside (I think that was it) kept us awake for two nights. Thanks to the owner for the cocktail offered at the end of the evening, compliments to the staff (the two girls) and the chef.

We stayed at the hotel for a short break and had a wonderful time. The welcome and attentive service were top notch, as was the generous breakfast. The cleanliness and location were excellent, a 5-minute walk from the center. Thanks to Marco, Antonella, Mr. Nunzio, and all the staff 💯... we'll definitely be back.
