Friendly restaurant. The pizzas are very good and the meat is excellent. The prices are extremely reasonable (including the wine).

The food is good and the portions are plentiful, but the service is a bit poor. While the staff is friendly, they're lacking in other areas. For example, I've been twice, and the first time they brought me a side dish only after I'd already finished my main course. The second time, my companion had an appetizer and a meat-based first course, and I had a seafood main course. Without asking, they assumed I'd eat the meat-based appetizer with the seafood main course. My companion started eating right away, and I had to wait an hour! Then they took my plate away without even realizing it was clean. They also have a grilled fish dish on the menu that says it comes with grilled vegetables, but that's not true. The dish, which is plentiful, is served with fish and a few sprigs of arugula for decoration, but there's no sign of grilled vegetables. It's a shame because the prices would be fair.

I've been frequenting this restaurant for many years now, and I can say that the menu is always rich, varied, and delicious, with truly excellent dishes and a more than fair price for the quality. The only flaw I noticed was the tableware: the glasses were cloudy, likely worn over time, and the cutlery wasn't perfectly clean. A more thorough check of these details would be appropriate to maintain the restaurant's high standards. Otherwise, it remains a historic Pisa restaurant that I highly recommend, thanks to its tasty cuisine and the tradition it has upheld for years.

A very welcoming, rustic restaurant. We ordered starters and a Black Angus steak, all excellent. The staff is kind and friendly. Excellent value. Recommended.

Mrs. Debora, who runs the dining room, is truly brilliant, as is the rest of the staff. In short, you feel right at home and get excellent food at a fair price.

Siamo andati in questo ristorante perché avevamo letto le recensioni di Internet abbiamo preso un tagliere di salumi, un primo piatto e un arrosto. La cosa più buona era la pasta per il resto mediocre nei salumi qualità scarsa crostino senza essere tostato e arrosto deludente duro e quasi tutto crudonon penso che torneremo

Tornando da Pisa cercavamo un ristorante dove mangiare infatti grazie a tripadvisor abbiamo scoperto questa trattoria. Le recensioni non erano il massimo ma non ci siamo fatti scoraggiare e siamo andati lo stesso e abbiamo mangiato benissimo il servizio e stato impeccabile e veloce e ancora oggi mi chiedo il perché di tutte ste recensioni negative comunque lo consiglio vivamente ho mangiato una pappardelle al cinghiale spettacolare e una fiorentina da dio di 2 kg ringrazio ancora i camerieri e anche il proprietario anche se quel giorno non c'era
